In the year 1945, the "Mad" Emperor was born. Everyone was delighted because the Empress was known to have fertility issues and she almost died during birth. But due to some "miracle", she survived. Her one and only child was a son. They believed that her son was the reason she survived. Yes. Even though she almost died giving birth to him.
Anyways he was showered with love and attention. After all, he was the only child of the Emperor, and of course cause, he was a boy. The bloodline would last forever.
With a spoiled child who got everything he wanted of course he thought he could get any person he wants. So when he fell in love with The Grimaldi family's youngest and only daughter (Marylin) he expect her to fall in love and cherish him forever.
And of course, she didn't. When he found out that the daughter of a viscount rejected the crown prince's advances he went insane.
Any maid that messed up in the slightest would end up executed. eventually, his parents ended up sending him up to the war, at only 14 years old.

When he came back he was 19 years old. He was less tempered and calmed down a bit. Of course, the trauma from the war made him even more off the edge. At 20 years old the Emperor died. Then of course the crown prince was encouraged to wed. The Grimaldi family sent their youngest and only daughter because she was blessed by the church. They believed she could help fix the mind of the emperor- to be.

They got married on July 4th, 1967.

When the crown prince was 24 he got appointed as the emperor.

Their marriage was surprisingly good until Marylin got sick.  The emperor started to get worse worrying every day. Constantly off the edge. Wondering if his dear wife will make it out alive.

Of course with the public not getting any information why half of the royal staff was fired randomly.

Rumors spread.

Conspiracies.

People started saying, "The emperor's madness drove her to death."

In the end, Marylin died on June 19th, 1972.

The emperor had no children and his only love had died.

The crown was doomed.

The emperor just killed anyone who pissed him off in the slightest.

In the year 1980, the emperor was sentenced to be hanged in front of the country in the capital due to tyranny and failing the economy. In the year 1981, the emperor was hanged.

They say his last words were "I'm sorry Marylin I failed you."

Of course, after hearing that the Grimaldi family was going on and on about how they should rule the kingdom because "The emperor would've wanted them to for Marylin."

In reality, after Marylin married the "mad Emperor" (or Edward. Yeah that was his name.) She ended up never talking to her family again. One of the rumors that went around said that Marylin's family went to a witch to curse her to death. (Of course, people thought it was a folktale.)

In the end, due to the high demand of the people, the Elders (Margret and Gilbert) ended up making the Grimaldi family the Emperors and Empress of Florian. The first thing that happened was that they kicked off the royal Advisers (The Maxwells and Macias) family.  Of course, with no royal advisers, they couldn't handle anything right. Including paying off debts to pay off the damage done by the war.

As a result, they ended up raising taxes by an unreasonable amount. The people started complaining and in the year 1987 on July 26th, the empire of Florian declared a civil war against the Grimaldi family. The war went on for 5 years. When the elders realized that the Grimaldi family had no intentions of stopping the war anytime soon the family was kicked out of the nation.

The thrown was left empty since then. In the year 1997, the Elders found a solution.

"The firstborn child of the Maxwell family and the Secondborn child of the Macias family will be at a battle for the throne. The one who proves victorious will rule and their family will be given riches and honor for the next century."

Thanks to Elder Matilda's "solution" I've been having to compete against Noah Macias for the throne.
"I'm Cameryon Maxwell the Heir to the Maxwell family."
