My eyes hung low, my mind somewhere else as I block out the chatter around me. The bar full of bodies, the band playing loudly in the back.

"Ava, you there?" My friend laughs, snapping me out of my thoughts. My friends laugh as I shake the thoughts from my mind.

"Girl, please stop worrying about it!" They say, knowing my mind is lingering about me just breaking up with my boyfriend. We were only together for 3 months...I realized I didn't want to be with him considering he was becoming more controlling and abusive as time went on.

We take 2 more shots each before I choke back the nausea forming in my stomach. I snack on the fries we ordered earlier in hopes to calm my alcohol filled stomach.

I feel an intense feeling in the pit of my stomach now, growing. It isn't the nausea. I look around the bodies in the room and my heart leaps into my throat as I see him.

His eyes are fixated on me, his shirt unbuttoned showing his torso, his long curly hair framing his face as he brings his scotch glass up to his lips, a smirk across his face. My eyes are locked on his, I can't look away.

He stands from his leaning position on the wall as a girl comes to him and ushers him to the dance floor. My mind is again gone from my friends and now watching my ex, before this last one, join the girl on the dance floor.

I realize the feeling inside of me is now burning jealousy as the girl begins grinding on him through the music. He lays his hands on her hips, guiding her to the music, his eyes locking on mine again. I choke back a gasp and look away, back to my friends.

"Potty break!" One if my friend slurs, standing and adjusting her short dress. I decide to join, trying to get away from his gaze and obvious tease.

We walk as a group of four to the back of the bar and into the restroom. I clean up my tattered makeup from dancing earlier. My mascara is smudged and I take a wipe to them.

The girls are uncontrollably giggling as I step from the restroom and into a side hall. I slowly walk down to rejoin my other friends now that I have regathered my thoughts.

I cant believe he is here. We haven't seen each other in over a year...or spoken. Our relationship was 2 years long. We had broken up because he is too jealous of a person, always trying to fight the men who even glanced at me wrong. He has anger issues, but never towards me.

I am stopped in my tracks right before the hallway enters the bar, my eyes lock on his, choking out, "Harry?"

"Hello again beaufiful," he smirks evilly, a toothpick playing between his teeth and lips as he eyes my body up and down. My dress leaving nothing to the imagination.

"Where is your little boyfriend?" He asks, leaning his arm up on the wall, keeping me from walking past even though I hadn't tried. My legs were cemented to the ground in shock.

"I don't have one anymore," I reply and he only grins larger.

"Lucky me."

"No not lucky you. Move," I demand, crossing my arms in front of me and he chuckles.

"You didn't miss me?" He teases, placing his hand on my waist and pulling my breasts to his chest making the air leave my lungs with his force.

"Harry. We broke up for a reason. Now let me go," I push his chest, stepping back away from his hold. He only seems to be happy at my disapproval of his actions.

"Your other ex still on your mind?" He asks with raised eyebrows, scotch heavy on his breath.

"No Harry. Please move," I request again and he obeys. I step past him but he catches my waist again and steps against my back. I choke back a moan as he moves my hair to one side and teasingly glides his lips along my neck to my ear.
