Gone - Niall Horan Fan Fic Chapter 1

"Take it again! Are you SURE you took it correctly?" Niall asked staring at the little blue plus sign on the pregency test.

"Yes! You just have to pee on a stick. How could I have messed it up?" I replied pacing around his bathroom. 

"I don't know. What should we do?" He looked at me like I knew what to do, like I had been in this situation before.

"How the hell am I sappose to know?" I quickly awnserd, I was starting to get impatient with him acting like I knew all the awnsers. Like I knew what it was like to be 18 and pregent. Because I know what to do when you find out your pregent. Right.

"Baby, look at me" He said tilting my face towards his. "No matter what, I'm here. I'm not leaving you. I promise it." He leaned in and kissed my softly on my forehead. "Maybe we need to go to the Doctor." He said handing me my black blazer. 

I sighed, put it on, grabbed his hand and walked out to his car. Knowing my mum would be concerned if I didn't text, I sent her a quick "Be home at 9 xx" and put my seat belt on.

Niall pulled the car out of his garage carfuly, while he reached for my hand and squeezed it tight.

That let me know that he was really here for me. I needed that.

I have always hated hospitals. Starting from the time my brother passed away in one. He was hit by a drunk driver. Instant death. He was 19. I was 14. Since then, I have hated hated HATED hospitals. Niall was aware of this, so he held my hand really tight. We made our way to the front desk and he motioned me towards a chair and I sat down.

"Hi, I'm looking for a pregency doctor. My girlfriend might be pregenant"

Niall asked with lots of concern in his voice.

"Most definetly! I'll just need you to fill out these papers" She said looking through a file cabinet, and handing Niall a stack of papers on a clipboard. "I'll have the doctor out in just a few minutes!"

"Thank you so much." Niall said smiling and walking over towards me.

We filled the papers out, and Niall walked over to the counter to turn them in.

"Claire Dane, The doctor will see you now." The nurse said smiling at me.

I reached for Nialls hand, grabbed it and together we walked to the doctors office. 

I sat down on the doctors bed and Niall took a seat in the chair.

Then the doctor came in.... I smiled at him hoping he would have a smile back for me.... and... in some ways, the awnsers to my problems.

The way my parents would react.

What I would do

How Niall would react.

What, WE, Niall and I, would do.

How could he contiune in his carrer with a BABY.

How we would afford it.

My mind was racing with so many diffrent questions that I couldn't awnser.

"I'm going to take an ultrasound test on you to be sure that your pregenant." The doctor said while hooking up something that I had no idea, what it was. I just went along with it. I was so confused and stuck and worried and had mixed feelings.

"You are indeed pregent" The doctor said. Smiling. Smiling. He was fucking smiling. "5 weeks pregent" 

That was the point were I went numb. I couldn't feel anything. I just looked at Niall. He could see it in my eyes, he stood up and walked over to me. He held my hand the entire time the doctor said something. I wasn't listing. I couldn't hear him. I understood something about coming back next week so we could make further appointments and find more things out. But I really didn't know what he was saying. I felt like I was in a blur, a dream. And everything was fuzzy looking and I couldn't hear. I guess I kinda hoped Niall was paying attention. I know he would because, he knows that I wouldn't be able to process any of this. He was the only person that I would want to have to deal with this with. Niall. Only him.
