Together Again

Obi-Wan stared at the battlefield. He feels a hand on his shoulder. Obi-Wan looked behind him to see Anakin smiling at the battle "what are you waiting for Obi-Wan come on let's go!" Anakin starts to run onto the battlefield, and Obi-Wan follows shortly after. The battle was long but it was all worth it. Obi-Wan was sweating he wiped the sweat from his face. He looked over to see Anakin panting "you alright Anakin?" Obi-Wan walked over "yea, I'm fine it's just really hot" Anakin wiped the sweat from his eyes and wiped them on his clothes. Obi-Wan patted Anakin's back "you did well my friend" Anakin smiled "thank you, Obi-Wan."

Anakin woke the light hitting his eyes. He put his hand in front of him to stop the light from hitting his eyes. Anakin looked over to see Obi-Wan still sleeping he smiled and got up. Shortly after Obi-Wan woke up. Obi-Wan looked around to see no Anakin in the cave. Obi-Wan got up as fast as he can "Anakin!" Obi-Wan shouts out "Ana-" he looked to see Anakin with a young boy. The boy and Anakin smiled at each other Obi-Wan ran over in fear of Anakin hurting the small child. Obi-Wan dragged Anakin away, "what were you doing?!" Anakin put his hands up " nothing I. I didn't know what I was doing!" Obi-Wan moved away from Anakin "I'm sorry I was just nervous" Anakin nodded"it's alright I shouldn't be trusted near children anyway" Anakin walks back inside the cave leaving Obi-Wan outside.

What am I doing the child is his? I can't keep Anakin away from him Luke will find out sooner or later.

Later that night Anakin fell asleep Obi-Wan went to talk to Owen about the situation. "Why did you even help him Obi-Wan did you forget what he did I get it Luke is his son, but he is dangerous and can not be trusted!" All that Obi-Wan can do is a nod "I think he changed" Owen raised an eyebrow at him " you think or you know?" Obi-Wan looked down "that's what I thought" Owen left Obi-Wan standing there. Morning came Obi-Wan couldn't sleep " what's wrong Obi-Wan?" Anakin asked "nothing Anakin" Obi-Wan turned his head away from him. "I see" Anakin walked away from Obi-Wan

Like was playing outside when he saw Anakin again"hey it's you again," Luke said running over and smiling at him. Anakin turned around to see Luke has stopped ok in front of him Owen noticed and ran over to them. "HEY, STAY AWAY FROM HIM!" Owen grabbed Luke "hey I was just talking to him, uncle!" Anakin stepped back away from the man Obi-Wan heard the yelling from afar. "Oh no Anakin" Obi-Wan rushed to find them so nothing bad happened he found them thank the force that nothing bad happened it was just yelling from Owen" alright that's enough Owen!" Obi-Wan said standing in front of Anakin and Owen. "What did I tell you, Obi-Wan, he is dangerous I don't want him near Luke for force's sake is that too much to ask!" Like didn't know what was happening but he knew he needed to help the situation "uncle it was my fault I talked to him don't be mad at him, please" Owen looked at Luke " fine mark my words Vader next time won't have mercy!" Owen grabbed Luke and dragged him back to the house. "You alright Anakin?" Anakin turned away "that's all I'm going to be known for is Vader," Anakin said quietly"Anakin no that's not the" Anakin stopped him "if that's all there going to see I guess that's who I am " Anakin walked away from Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan just stood there not knowing what to do.

Anakin's mind
Vader that's all I am I hate that name! Why, why me why couldn't Obi-Wan just kill me. "Anakin!" I turned around "huh what do you want," I said annoyed "Anakin look you are not Vader you are Anakin Skywalker, not Darth Vader!" Why should I believe him I turned away "that boy... He's my son isn't he" I turned to look at Obi-Wan.

It was Obi Wan's turn to turn around "yes," he said looking down now "why didn't you tell me?" Anakin said, "I don't know" Anakin sighed "you still don't trust me and that's fine" Obi-Wan looked up to Anakin "that's not what I said," Obi-Wan sounded confused"I know but I'm saying you still don't trust me" Anakin was annoyed by the silence" perhaps" Obi-Wan mumbled "I new it" Obi-Wan thinking what he was saying "what no Anakin that's not what I meant!" Anakin wasn't listening to Obi-Wan "yea right" Anakin didn't look back. The sunset started and Anakin didn't show up. "Come on Anakin please" Obi-Wan whispered then he saw something or someone in the distance"Anakin?" And indeed, it was Anakin " Anakin!" Obi-Wan ran down to Anakin and huge him "huh?" Anakin wasn't expecting this. "I thought you weren't coming back" Obi-Wan explained still hugging Anakin "well I'm here now so" Anakin answered back. "Why, why didn't you tell me that was my son" Obi-Wan couldn't answer the question "I...I don't know I mean you were a sith so we hid Luke" Anakin knew it was for the best but he could help the fact that Obi-Wan still didn't trust him and Obi-Wan knew that Anakin thought this. "The boy will have to be told sooner or later," Obi-Wan said, "will Owen even let me see him again?" Obi-Wan didn't know the answer to that. "I don't know," Obi-Wan said truly "probably not" Anakin replied. It was Anakin's turn to lose sleep he could stop thinking about his newly found son. He wanted to talk to him and get to know him. He got up quietly and left.

Luke heard a crash he got up and walked out of his room he saw the man again "huh what are. you doing here you going to get in trouble and I don't want you to" Luke said "I want to get to know you" Luke smiled "ok, follow me but we have to be quiet so Uncle doesn't hear" Anakin nodded and followed Luke " you like building things?" Anakin asked "yes, all sorts of stuff but ships and droids I like building and fixing are my favourites" Luke was a lot like him he thought. "I like that stuff too I build lots of droids when I was your age" Luke had sparkles in his eyes "REALLY?" Anakin nodded "yes" Anakin chuckled "that's so cool" Luke smiled so bright Anakin knew that he and Like would get to know each other well. "What happened to you?" Like asked "I got into a fight" Anakin answered Lukes's question. "Oh I see did you win I bet you did and whoever was fighting you lost" Luke smiled "yea, umm I didn't win" Anakin put his arm around his neck "what why," Anakin told him about the battle and how he fought Obi-Wan. "Oh you mean Ben" Anakin cocked his head to the side "Ben?" a napkin asked "Obi-Wan changed his name" Luke nodded. "Luke where are you?!" Luke froze "you have to go uncle is awake" but when luke turned to look at Anakin he was gone "Luke there you are it's dark come here" Owen picked Luke up. Luke didn't know if it was a dream but he was happy and hoped that this can happen again tomorrow night.
