LENI'S POV

"She's engaged na po."

Jillian's voice kept echoing about Risa's engagement. I wanted to walk away, but I couldn't move. I wanted to cry but no tears were coming out from my eyes. All I know was, I was covered with pain. A pain that I felt last when I lost Jesse.

"Mada'am VP? Mada'am. Gising po. May bisita po kayo."

I opened my eyes and realized I was in front of my desk and seeing one my staff's face.

"Ano?"

"May bisita po kayo. Papasukin ko na po ba?"

I stared at her for some time.

What? Teka sandale.

I immediately look at my phone's date and time. It's 4:30 in the afternoon and the date was still the same.

"Mada'am, okay lang po kayo?"

"Saglet lang ha. Pwede mo ba ako kunan ng tubig?" I covered my face with my hands. My brain couldn't process what was happening.

"Sige po. Pasensya na po. Napasama po ata gising ko sainyo."

"Nabalitaan mo ba ang tungkol kay Senator Risa?"

"Ang ano po? Ano pong balita?" giving me a confused look.

I didn't answer her. I just browsed my phone to see any latest news about Risa but there was nothing except for the last 3 months when she won in the senatorial election.

It was a dream! Oh my God! I was just a dream!!

I immediately drunk the water my staff gave me.

"Ay oo pala. Sabi mo may bisita ako. Sino?"

"Anak po ni Senator Risa."

"Ha? Sige sige. Papasukin mo na."

My mind still couldn't manage to digest every thing but I needed to collect myself to face Sinta. My knees immediately trembled when I saw Sinta entered my office.

"Hello po mada'am vice president." Sinta greeted. I could see worries in her eyes.

"Ay ano ba yan, anak. Tatlong buwan lang tayong di nagkita-kita ganyan na tawag mo sa'kin. It's still me. Ano ka ba. Tita lang. Upo ka. Kumusta ka? Ano sadya natin?"

"Okay naman po ako. Actually, di ko nga po alam kung tama po 'tong desisyon kong lapitan ka. Baka po kasi magalit sa'kin si mama pero po kasi. . ."

"May problema ba kayo ng mama mo? You can tell me. Baka makatulong ako."

"Ah no po. Okay po kami ni mama."

"So, what's to be the problem? H'wag kana mahiya."

"Ilang araw na po kasing di nalabas si mama sa kwarto nya. Ilang araw na din pong di pumapasok. Ilang araw na daw pong di kumakain ng maayos. Nung isang linggo po nagkasakit po sya at ang taas daw po ng lagnat sabi ni ate Issa tapos tinatawag ka daw po tuwing gabi tapos umiiyak daw po."

I was surprised by Sinta's statements.

"Alam ko pong di kayo okay kasi pinagsabihan din po kami ni mamang h'wag na munang makipag'usap kila Jill lalo na daw po kung lalabas kaming kasama ka. Pero tita, I think mama needs you. I don't know what exactly happening between the two of you but mama needs you po, tita. Baka po sakaling kumain na ulit sya kapag nakita ka po nya."
