Lana and Daphnee

Lana and Daphnee part 2

It's been a week since Lana and Daniel broke up, Lana was staying at the hotel since all her friends lived in other countries. Lana didn't have enough money to stay at the hotel any more longer so she needed to go to her job. 

Some minutes later, Lana was at her job. When she opened the door, everyone was now looking at her, furious. Lana was really confused but she wasn't really in the mood to go ask anyone what was going on. She just walked to the counter and went behind to make the hamburgers. 

After a while, her boss walked in. She was really surprised by seeing Lana there and she was mad at the same time. Lana noticed that Bianca wasn't calm like always so she walked up to her and asked her what was the problem. 

-The problem?? Girl, you weren't there  for the whole week! said Bianca. Tell me why.

-I broke up with my boyfriend and he kicked me out, replied Lana, sad.

-Well that's your problem, you needed to send me an email or something and you know that if you're not sick then you still have to go to your job. You have been absent for a week so i had no choice to replace you. Also.. You're fired.

Lana stood there in front of Bianca, heartbroken. She worked to this job for almost six years and she loved it. Bianca has always been a lovely person and she was a good friend of Lana. Since Lana got a boyfriend, her friendship with Bianca hasn't been the same at all. Lana was devastated by what her boss just said. It was the worst week ever. Every other employes were looking at Lana, disapointed in her.  She needed to leave this place before it could be even worst.

In her car, Lana was sobbing, it was hard to breath or even speak. She was so sad by what just happened. She was trying to think about what the hell just happened.  She was really tired and she kept telling herself that tomorrow will be a better day. She went to the hotel and she jumped in her bed, when her head touched the pillow, she fell asleep.

The next morning, Lana was feeling a little better, she woke up early, she ate cereal for breakfast. This day was already better than yersterday. She still needed a job so she took her phone and looked up for little jobs to do. After searching for almost an hour, she found something fun! A boba tea shop.

Lana wrote the adress of the shop on a piece of paper, put it in her pocket and then goes to her car. She turns the  volume of the music on.  Weekend whip by The fold, her favorite song was playing. This maybe sound a little childish, but Lana always loved Ninjago and it's music, it always made her feel better.

Arrived at the boba tea shop, Lana was trying to talk to an employee to get hired. After not even 10 seconds, she found someone, she asked them if they knew where they needed to go to get hired and the employee took Lana's hand and went to the back of the shop. 

At the back, there was multiple rooms, the one Lana went in was really small but it looked cool. She sat on a chair like the employee told her to do and she waited.

After a while, the manager came in, he was around Lana's age, 19, he was wearing a yellow suit. It looked weird but it suited him. His hair was blond,  almost yellow, it was curly, he had yellow sunglasses aswell. Almost eveyrthing about him was of the color yellow. Only one thing made everything look different. His eyes, they were light blue, they were mesmerinzing. 

The guy walked up to Lana and sat in front of her, smiling. 
-Hi!, he said. 
His voice was so calming and nice. 

-H-Hi! replied Lana, mesmerized

-Haha don't look at me like that! My name is Joseph Smith but you can call me Joe.

-My name is Lana! I'm here to get a job.

-You're already hired, replied Joseph, laughing.

-What do you mean? Asked Lana, confused.

-I'm too lazy to do all the stuff so I already hired you, if you work well I'll keep you!

Woah, that was nice! Lana got a job without even trying!

Lana went back to her house with a smile on her face. She was gonna come back the next day.
