It was a Thursday. I remember Lexi running down the hall, tears in her dark brown eyes.
"What's wrong?" I ask. She's never like this.
"It's... it's..." she continues crying. Everyone in the crowed hallway is giving me nervous looks. They whisper and continue walking bye.
Did I miss something?
"Lexi, just spit it out."
"He jumped!" she cries.
"Who jumped?"
People are start to run down the hall.
"And I watched him do it!"
"Lexi, stay right here. I'm going outside to see what's wrong."
I start walking down the hall. Actually, sprinting. I run faster and faster until I get to the crowd of people in the front of the building. Then I start hearing his name.
Nothing but panic starts rushing over me.
I push and shove to the front of the crowd of people.
I see bloodspatter on the cement.
I can't think. I can't breath. I can't scream when I see the cold, lifeless eyes of him.
I can't hear anything except the silent whispers of my peers.
"Ashton just commited sucicide."
