Brad was Brad.he loves to eat no matter what. He was a bad student and didn't care about punishments . Because Brad loved to eat, in class he ate his pencils and more. When he got home he wasn't allowed to go inside cause he needed to play outside.
"Ugh why." Brad moaned.
He would eat dirt, grass or even cocoa beans from the garden. When he was 5(is now 9) he would eat glass, books, even wood. The only thing that stopped him from eating was his parents locking him in his room without anything except a bed, a pillow, and maybe a blanket. Many visits to new doctors he would go to and they didn't know what was wrong with him or what was possibly right.
All they said is" we have no clue what is wrong with Brad mrs and mr cloe."
He came home sad and frustrated.
"They're wasting time I could be eating. Or pulling the pillows off the couch." He thought. His mother and father went back to work. As his siblings Kendall and Joel arrived home they went straight outside after they ate an apple or an orange each. Then they play with dolls and cars.
Brad asked every day" may I play with you?"
They both said with anger" no, you will eat our toys or maybe even us." He was sad and went to the garden to eat more cocoa beans.He wished he could disappear.
Brad was sad. His siblings let him down again. Every day his parents came home with 10 books and a few pages of work for home to do. Once he ate his work
"That didn't taste very good," he thought again. His mother and father kept candy hidden from him like always. His siblings went into the garden and found 1 untouched cocoa bean. They wanted to make a chocolate bar for their neighbor suizy.
"BRAD" his mother yelled
. "Yes mam" or "yes mama" he said politely.
"Come here please brad." His mother Delilah said with an angry tone.
His father moragtormi a famous writer thought
''wow she treats Brad so differently than Kendall and Joel." Brad thought the same way. He yelled
" coming mother, sorry." While he also thought out loud
" Wow, what a rude mother for her to treat me like this. Wish I had tunys mom"( Tuny Is his only friend) His father screamed back
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY ABOUT YOUR OWN STEP MOTHER." The secret was out. His mother admitted that Brad wasn't her child. He thought
" So it is true. I am their step son. Does that mean Kendall and Joel are adopted too?" Turns out they wanted kids so they adopted all the kids when they were young.
He avoided his step mom for 10 weeks. He would say to his father.
" Ok dad I'm going on a bike ride now." He wouldn't come back till 7:00pm he would leave at 5:00pm. His father came and followed him one night and Brad didn't realize. Then moragtormi realized that brad was trying to lose weight to not look normal. He went 12 miles every day. It took him 1hour and a half for 12 miles.
He looked at the adoption center half way through the ride every time for half an hour. Saying
"this is where I belong." His father cut in and said
'' No you're not adopted, you're mine. Your mother passed away when you were 1 and I married Delilah so you would have a mom. We adopted Kendall and Joel."
"WHAT WHERE DID YOU COME FROM?" Brad screamed in shock.''his father moragtormi said.
" I followed you my son, your step mother misses you talking and joking around at dinner.''
