Camila can't stand the fact that she upset Lauren. She hates it when Lauren cries. Sad and angry and pushes her away to dwell in misery on her own. Lauren has a thing with crying in front of her pets, so she figured Lauren must've run off to where the cute animals are to cry.

But Camila couldn't fully understand why Lauren was so upset. Or why would she think she would leave her just like that. Granted, she and Normani briefly mentioned living together, but they were high in orgasm at the time. Camila thought about it, but she is not deciding with finality. Not especially when she knows she can't live without Lauren.

Maybe she shouldn't have suddenly sprung up the topic of Normani staying in their place temporarily. But accidents happen. Her girlfriend's home was flooded with dirty water from horribly faulty plumbing. And she really doesn't want to surprise Lauren with Normani's crap lying around their apartment to come home to. She had been grumpy all weekend, it was safe to assume that it was because of Normani hanging around a lot over the weekend, and Camila doesn't want to escalate her mood.

But she just have to tell the situation they were in.

The last time she saw Lauren this upset was when her parents were killed. Their private jet got caught in a hailstorm and crashed. Nobody survived and it left Lauren devastated. It also left Lauren sole heir to everything they own; estates, stockholder shares and a quarter of a billion dollars. Plus her fifty million trust fund that she never touched, Lauren is financially well off. But alone as fuck. Her parents death made her so sad that no amount of wealth was enough to make her truly happy.

The only person to ever bring back her smile, her laugh, was Camila. And Camila takes pride in that. She vowed ever since to make Lauren happy and would never leave her alone. That they would be together no matter what happens.

Now, she internally kicks herself for making her best friend upset. Making the impression that she would leave her. She needs to fix this but first she needed to find Lauren.

"Camila! This is a nice surprise. What are you doing here?"

Camila finds Ally instead. She greets her with a hug. It's been a while since they last saw each other. Mainly because they both have been busy with work.

"I was looking for Lauren, I wanted to talk to her,"

"She was in the admin office," Ally hugs Camila back just as tight, "I was there just minutes ago, asking her to help me out with a little schnauzer in the yard for some physical therapy,"

"I found her there but she— she got upset and ran off,"

"Ah," Ally nods knowingly, "You already know how Lauren is when she is upset. She is either with the puppies or the kitties in the back. She could've been with the bunnies but I banned her from going there for the time being,"

"Why?"

"She tried to steal a client's bunny. Long story, don't ask. Anyway, that is her punishment. Keep away from cute baby bunnies. So, just turn that corner and go in the back, you'll find her there,"

"With either the dogs or the cats,"

"Yup. Just take a guess which one,"

"Thanks Ally,"

"Anytime," Ally squeezes Camila's arm as she passes by her.

Camila smiles gratefully at her, remembering the time when she had a crush on her growing up. Plenty of times when Camila was around thirteen, she had fantasies about Ally laying in her bed with her, doing things they shouldn't do. Now, many years later, she doesn't fantasize about Ally like that anymore but she is still every bit important to her.
