Weeks gone by after that date at the Amakane Island where you realized your true feelings towards Ayato. Your birthday was fast approaching as well so as your wedding with Ayato, everyday was becoming busy because of the planning of the wedding. “Lady we are about to take your measurements for you Wedding Kimono.” You nodded as the tailor measured your body measurements;

There wasn't exactly mind blowing happened from the fact that you had secretly took over the Mukami Family, Every now and then you would sneak out of the Estate to go to the Mukami Residence to deal with the Family business, Of course you wouldn't dare step foot outside the residence with Ayato around.

Ayaka and Thoma had believed your words— you always reason that you will meet up with a female friend whenever you go out they didn't mind it though. “The wedding kimono shall be done within a week my lady.” The tailor was done measuring you thanked them as you walked outside to spot Ayato with Yume again.

Your eyes saddened.

But your thoughts was interrupted as you heard Ayato called you, “Dear?” His voice called out an endearment that made your whole stomach filled with butterflies, “Hello, Ayato.” Ayato slightly pushed Yume and walked towards you giving you a hug. You saw the jealousy in Yume's eyes but you ignore her and glance at Ayato's eyes. “What are you doing here?” He asked. “I just finished taking my measurements for my wedding kimono and i decided to take a stroll in the estate.” You smiled which made Ayato smiled at you back. “What about you, Ayato?”

“Ah, I was just here with Lady Nobunaga we are planning for the future plans for the Irodori Festival.” You nodded, Yume was still glaring at you you decided to annoy her more by cupping Ayato's cheeks. “Don't strain yourself too hard dear. I'll make your favourite drink for you.” You said, Ayato was flushed by your sudden actions but what you did next made him blush on the spot.

You took his lips by surprise, kissing him infront of Yume.

“I'll send the tea in your study later dear.” She whispered at the blushing male and walked away from the scene, Your actions made Yume fumed in anger,  Ayato and Yume was left alone which made Yume stare down at the ground. “Is this really it, Ayato?” She asked the male, Ayato glance at her with a bored look.

“Surely you don't mean you are really planning to marry a illegitimate child, do you?” She asked mocking you, Which Ayato rather furious. “What did you say?” He sternly said, In which Yume screamed in frustration. “I WAS ALWAYS TOLD I WAS GOING TO BE YOUR WIFE! I WAITED FOR MY TURN BUT SHE STOLE EVERYTHING FROM ME!” She yelled.

They were supposed to be engaged.

“What's in her that's not in me?!” Yume asked, For her— Y/N wasn't even a match for her but why did he chose her over her? “Remember what my family is capable of doing, Ayato. I suggest you reconsider this again.” Ayato's face went dark, “Are you threatening me right now?” he shot the female a glare which made her let out a laugh.

“What if I am?” She daringly spoke to the Commissioner, her finger trailing Ayato's chin. “The more you want to protect her, the more i want to destroy her more.” She said, Ayato held her shoulder. “Don't do anything stupid, You should know by now that i treat you as no one, If you dare do something to Y/N you will face my wrath.” He left the woman alone angrily.

You were in the kitchen with a worried Thoma in your side, “Ah thoma please don't worry too much, The lady knows how to use the kitchen!” Kiyoko said to the worried dirty blond haired man, He laughs. “But i can do it my lady please let me do it—” You shook your head and lets out a giggle. “I told ayato i will make him his favorite milk tea.” 

You comtinued to stir the milk on the pot as per instruction on the recipe you had bought in the past, You can finally make it for Ayato, Unknown to you Ayato was leaning on the kitchen door with Ayaka looking at the three of you in amusement. “Brother? May I talk to you for a moment?” Ayaka said, Ayato simply nodded as they got out of the Kitchen Area and came to Ayato's study.

“Is there something wrong, Ayaka?” her brother started the conversation, Ayaka took a deep breath and faced her brother. “There is brother.” She said.

“What do you plan to do with Lady Nobunaga?” Ayaka had an serious expression, “Brother.. It can't go on like this, I trust you that you are not doing something that could break Y/N's heart but i don't trust that lady.” She opened up.

“I know what you are worried, Ayaka but fear not i will not do anything that can ruin my relationship with Y/N.” he spoke his hand wandered on the frame on his desk, It was a picture of you. It was a picture that Lumine taken in one of your training with her kamera, when you were laughing with ayaka taking your break of course it wasn't free knowing Paimon, he had to get the photo for a few mora but it didn't matter it was you of course.

“But brother! That woman is scheming i don't trust her she most be plotting something towards Y/N!” It was rare for ayaka to be like this she was always calm and collected at all times, It just shows that she cares about you just like him. “I won't let her do what she wants.” he said.

“I will never let her lay a finger on Y/N too! You can trust that I will protect her if you're not here around.” Ayato patted his little sister's head, The door of the study opened revealing Thoma and Y/N. Y/N was was done making the drink. “Here you are ayato.” Ayaka walked towards thoma and pushed him out— to give you and ayato a alone time together.

“Let me know what do you think of it.” Ayato took a sip on the cup. “Hmmm.” He pretended to not like it at first just to see a cute reaction from you, “Is it not into your liking?” You asked.

Ayato smirked, “I wonder.” you grab the cup as you tried the tea yourself, It was perfectly fine for you you had followed the recipe on his favourite shop.

He suddenly took your chin, kissing you. Which made you speechless, It took you off guard. Ayato pulled out as you catched your breath, you glance at him saw how amused he is. He licks his lips as he gives you a light chuckle. “It's sweet, but your lips taste sweeter. I wouldn't mind kissing you all day.”

You blushed as you covered your face running out to the room.

Ayato then turned serious as he saw you left. “I need chu to tail on nobunaga these days i'm afraid she'll do something to Y/N.” he said preparing himself to go to the shuumatsuban hideout.
