Chifuyu and Takemichi have been friends for 12 years, they met in middle school, both 14.

It was august when takemichi when takemichi tried attempting to kill himself.

But, chifuyu saved him.

At first, takemichi was a bit hesitant to make friends with him.

He seemed famous and he's scared that being friends with him would mean that there'll be more bullies for him.

But he was wrong.

Just like him, chifuyu had no friends.

He refused to have one, specifically.

His reason was it wasn't the friendship that they were after.

To takemichi, it felt a bit off.

Is chifuyu an overthinker or does he just have trust issues? Either way, takemichi just believed him and agreed to be friends with him.

Chifuyu is a cold and aloof person.

But at least not to him.

Though he does have a favorite foul word to describe takemichi.

crybaby.

It was rude, yeah.

But as time goes by, chifuyu did really prove a point by calling him a crybaby.

Because he really is a crybaby.

Sometimes, takemichi would joke about how offensive that is.

And chifuyu would just look at him with this unreadable expression.

And chifuyu knowing what takemichi is thinking, his expression meant worrying.

Takemichi being a crybaby might be true but he doesn't want to trigger him.

He knows that takemichi hates being called a crybaby.

He's worried that calling takemichi a crybaby every time would make him remember his past traumatic experiences.

And so he asks, "Have I gone too far?"

And takemichi assures him that he's okay.

Takemichi knows how much chifuyu genuinely cares for him.

It was sickening..sickening sweet.

All he knows is that his stomach would always feel like it's turning every time he realizes everything.

Every time after he learns about how chifuyu cares for him.

He wasn't fond of such feelings and emotions.

Because to him, he thinks that he does not deserve it.

He's done things that are unforgivable after all.

But what are those unforgivable things again?

Those negative thoughts and emotions were the only ones that sympathized with him when he was having a hard time.
