After school, I immediately turned on my computer. Luckily we have no homework! I made the decision to give genshin impact a try.. it didnt seem that bad after all. I called ben to tell him about it, but he didnt pick up. I wonder Whats wrong? He always picks up the phone when I call him. Maybe hes busy, im probably just overthinking. The game took way too long to install, so I just decided to take a nap. When I woke up, the game was fortunetly installed already! I started the game, but it disappointed me. I actually fell asleep while playing.. when I was done, I was about adventure rank 13. "Thats enough for today.. it was mad boring. I hope it gets better." I tried calling ben again, but he still didnt pick up. Something must be wrong.. He cant be busy for so long. "I'll see him in school anyways, it doesnt matter." I thought t myself. I instead tried calling the others in the friendgroup, but Noone except for moochie picked up. "Whats wrong?! Why is Noone picking up the phone?" I ask impatiently. "Apparently theyre playing genshin impact. They seem to love it." I hung up, pissed off. Why would they choose a dumb, boring game over me. I just waited till the next day, hoping that I get to talk to them. I went out out of my house earlier, to see my friends. As I was walking to the school, I noticed that the bench next to the tree infront of the school is free. Thats where we always meet up. What is happening? Since I didnt see anyone there, I just went to class, 10 minutes earlier. I took the free seat in the back and started scrolling through tiktok. My for you Page was full of genshin impact. What the hell? Why is that game so popular? Exactly the second the Bell Rang, the door opened and everyone walked in. All my friends looked tired, except for grayson. Wasnt he the only one not playing the game? Is it somehow related to that dumb genshin game?! Genshin impact seems to ruin lives..
