It's past midnight as you lay in bed with your boyfriend laying on top of you. The room was dim and your only source of light was the bright screen of his computer beside him. Tissues, wrappers, and other pieces of trash were scattered about but you didn't mind, at least not right now.
You watch as his chest rised up and down and his headphones slowly fall off of his head. He looked peaceful, serene even as you ran a lazy hand through his dark brown locks. It was greasy but you were too tired to care at that moment. You wished he took better care of himself but he was too obsessed with that AI on his computer to care about anything. You felt bad. He was genuinely a good guy even if he did have his quirks.
He suddenly stirred and moved a little, looking at at you hazily with his light brown eyes as he stretched and adjusted his glasses. "Babe..?" He muttered softly as he moved closer to your neck, laying on the crook of it. You watched as his eyelashes fluttered while looking at you, his long hair falling into his face. "Yeah?" You whisper as you brushed the hair off, admiring his beautiful, tired face.
You loved moments like these. Moments where it was just you two up against each other, forgetting about the world. You loved him. Even if he was....weird in some aspects, you loved him either way. You want the best for him, and you will be with him and help for as long as it takes.
