Life is short.
It's a saying I had heard millions of times from professors, my parents, and even my friends. However, I was never able to fully grasp the concept of it until the Battle of Hogwarts.
Until the night I died.
Death had always been a troubled topic. I didn't know what to believe; I wanted to believe we had some sort of Heaven, or Hell, or Afterlife, but the idea seemed way too far fetched for the cruel world we did live in. But I'm an optimist, so I couldn't help but believe in something that was just simply nothing.
I was a wizard, after all.
I saw magic every day.
Now...
I'll get back to that. I'm too far already.
