Chapter 2: Alice?

I was just about to hit the tile at the bottom of the hole...
I shut my eyes tightly and readied for impact, waiting for the feeling of the feeling of my flesh hit the ground...
Instead I felt a pair of soft paws and long, sharp claws grab me, then a cool breeze blow my hair back. I opened my eyes to see I'm in the strange world Alice calls Wonderland with Chesh smiling up at me.
"Hello Miss Snow... What brings you here?"
"Hey Chesh. I just found out Prince David was cheating on me with Mathilda."
"Alice's sister? Don't know what he saw in her."
"Neither do I Chesh... Neither do I... Anyway, where is Alice?"
"With the Hatter, Doormouse, Hare and Rabbit, would you like me to take you there?"
I smiled at the strange cat. "Yes please, Pretty Kitty!" I gave him a small pat on the head and he replied with a purr.
"Come along Miss Snow~!" He purred before disappearing and leaving paw prints in a direction that I followed.

I the paw prints stopped suddenly by a stripped tree. I look up on a low-hanging branch to see Chesh's purple stripes, smile, eyes, whiskers and ears.
"Follow the path and that's where they are."
"Thanks Chesh, have a nice day!"
"You two, Miss Snow." And with that he disappeared.
I followed the track until I found the Hatter's garden. I walked up to the little wooden gate and knocked.
"Alice? Hatter? Hare? Mouse? Rabbit?" I half yelled so they would be able to hear me.
"Snow?" I heard Alice yell back before coming to the gate.
"The one and only." I smiled.
Alice opened the gate smiling and hugged me. "It's been a while! What brings you to Wonderland?"
"Funny you should ask, Mathilda and David have been sleeping together."
Alice gasped "what?! My sister and your Prince?!"
"Yeah. I ran out of the castle and into the woods, tripped on a root and now I'm here. Chesh helped me so I didn't hit the tile at the bottom of the rabbit hole, then he lead me here."
"Well come in! Come in!" Alice practically pulled me into the garden. I took a deep breath through my nose.
"I've always loved the smell of tea..." I mumble.
"Hatter! Hatter! Snow White is here! She needs tea and cake stat!"
"What kind of tea? Any sugar? Milk?" I heard the Hatter yell.
"Jam on the cake?" The hare added.
"Camomile, no sugar, no milk, strawberry jam please!" I yelled back with a giggle.
Alice and I walked over to the tea table to find the Hatter pouring tea onto the White Rabbit's pocket watch again.
"Oh no no no no! My precious watch!"
Alice and I laugh.
"Typical. I leave for two minutes and you start 'Fixing' Mr Rabbit's watch!"
All three boys--well, Man, Hare and Rabbit--looked up at us, stopping what they were doing.
"It happens waaaayyy to much, hey Girls~?"
"Cheshire!" Alice shook her head. "Don't be rude!"
I laughed and sat down next to the hare. "This is why I missed coming here, always fun and silly."
Chesh appeared on the seat next to me and smiled his signature grin. I gave him a quick scratch behind the ear, in which Chesh responded with a small purr.
"Snow! You were late for tea!" The Hare shouted. I dodged the tea cup that was thrown at me and grabbed it before it hit the door mouse. I put the tea cup on the table and smiled sweetly at the Hatter.
"My tea please, Hatter." I asked with a polite voice.
"Yes yes, of course, the tea!" Hatter picked up a tea pot and reached over the Hare to pour some Camomile into my cup.
"Thank you."
"And the cake!" The Hare shouted before handing me some sponge cake filled with cream and jam.
"Thank you, too!" I kissed the Hare on the forehead and took a bite of my cake, then washed it down with my tea. "Mm! Delicious!"
I looked over at Alice who sat opposite to me, next to the White Rabbit and the Hatter, smiling as she made small talk with the glasses-wearing Albino.
No wonder Alice stays here all the time. Ever since the incident with the Red Queen this place has gotten even more perfect!
