Whisper sat below the cliff, Shrew growling down at her with disgust. "This pup... Is a curse!" She flattened her ears. "But... It wasn't my fault!" She cried. Shrew growled. "I vote that Whisper is kicked from the pack!" She leapt off the small cliff and seized Whisper in her jaws. "If you agree, stand next to me." All but one of the adult wolves stood next to Shrew. "It is settled then." She walked towards the forest with Whisper dangling from her jaws. "So much for a prophecy." Shrew muttered.
Tiger watched as her sister was carried away. Whisper! What did she do to get kicked from the pack? Her littermate never did anything bad on purpose. She scampered after the wolves, running to keep pace. She made sure she was out of sight.
Whisper looked back and saw a gleam of turquoise eyes. Tiger? She was slammed onto the ground by Shrew. She yelped. Whisper laid on the ground while the wolves walked away. Tiger walked up to her. "Tiger! What are you doing here?" She asked. Tiger grinned at her. "I would follow you anywhere..."
