Chapter 3

I was walking back to the group Nick ran up to me.

"You did pretty good out there I could ask of you wanted to join the rugby team?"

I giggled "it's a boys only Rugby Nick."

He rubbed his neck "yeah but I could still ask."

I sighed "Fine only because you guys are shit."

He laughed "See you around Y/n." He saluted like I did.

I chuckled.

"Y/n you can't join the rugby team!" Tao said

I shrugged "Why not?" I asked.

"Harry Greene is on the team and you'll get hurt."

Elle said rubbing my shoulder.

I sighed "I'll be fine you guys worry to much."

I walked away and headed home.

When I got back I ran up to my room and grabbed my teddy. I hugged him and grabbed my phone. I texted the group chat

'I'm so excited I hope they let me join the rugby team!!!'

I put my phone on my bed side table and saw how late it was.

I turned off my light, grabbed my teddy, and went to sleep.

I woke up in the morning and got changed really fast. I sprinted out the door to school to meet Nick.

When I got there I ran up to Nick and tapped on his shoulder.

"What did they say?!?" I said excitedly.

He turned around and said "THEY LET YOU IN!!"

I jumped up and down and hugged him.

"Oh shit sorry.." I said letting go of him.

He smiled "all good!"

"I'll see you later." I said.

I walked to Higgs and met up with Elle to go to class.

"Oh fuck we have French today I'm really shit at it." I said sadly.

She laughed "your pronunciation is horrendous!" 

I poured and said "Rude."

We both laughed and walked to French. In french Imogen didn't have a partner so we had to work with her.

"Hi Imogen.." I said rolling my eyes.

"Hey guys!! I think Nick liked me back!" She said excitedly.

I laughed "sure he does."

She frowned and sat down.

"Why are you joining the rugby team isn't that for boys?" She asked.

"Anyone can play rugby Imogen." I said sighing.

She rolled her eyes and started writing.

After school is was rugby practice. I ran to Truham and met up with Nick.

"Hey Nick." I said smiling.

"Oh hey!" He said.

He took my to the changing rooms and I tapped his shoulder.

"Im a girl where do I go?" I asked worried.

He looked at the showers.

"In there."

I groaned and walked to the showers. After we had gotten changed we went to the field and started practicing.

"Okay so just tackle me." Nick said smiling.

"Bitch I know how to play rugby." I said.

He palmed his forehead and said "yeah we still have to practice though you have no experience."

I laughed "who said that?"

He looked at me confused "you've played rugby?"

I ran up to him and tackled him to the ground. I was on top of him and my face went red.

"Um sorry.." I said getting up.

"It's all good that was great, maybe you don't need practice."

We both laughed and went to go on play rugby with the others.
