Ava's POV:
"Noo way you did nott" I exclaimed laughing
"yupp indeed I did she was a pain in the ass anyway" josh said sheepishly as he was telling me his childhood memories and what he did to the Maths teacher.
Rora finally introduced me to her boyfriend they made it official yesterday after they took Matteo's and their father's blessings.
He's really funny he made my stay here funnier and I love how he looks at rora with so much love, I'm glad that rora found someone she deserves and treats her nicely!
A knock on the door interrupts our conversation, the doctor enters with matteo.
"how you feeling today?" the doctor asked as he was checking my bruises
"fine, just a little sore"
"that's completely normal, you're left leg however is more than sore it was I assume injured before and you re opened the wound and I'll give you some painkillers and you're free to go, but I require you to have bed rest for the next couple of days and no physical activity for at least a week" I nodded for him to continue "also back to your legs after the bed rest you may start walking but it would be hard at first and it will feel wobbly so I suggest when you start walking have someone to assist you like a toddler who is learning how to take his first steps aka baby steps we don't want you to hurt yourself now do we?" he finished
"okay thank you so much" I smiled at him while matteo just gave him a curt nod and rora looking at me sadly for the umpteenth time
After 10 minutes a knock on the door stopped mine and rora's rambling about movies, a girl wearing all black outfit with eyebrow and ear piercing entered the room nodding to matteo and josh then winking to rora okay that's weird then moved toward me
"hi there, I'm Isabelle" she said smiling while shaking our hands, of course I noticed her tattoos.
"actually we all go for Isa or Belle so since you're becoming her friend too don't use her full name" rora said while giving her 'I dare you to tell otherwise' look and Isabel ...belle just shrugged her shoulders she then turned to matteo
"I got everything you asked for in the bag"
"well Ava, belle here brought you some clothes so you can go home now, we will leave just call for us when you're done" he said as they all started to get up to leave I really needed to go to the toilet I guess that will wait since I can't walk and they left!
After a looooott of pain and discomfort I managed to change and sighed a sigh of relief then called for rora no answer then I tried josh no answer did they really leave?
"aghhhh, MATTEOOOOOOO!" just the door got slapped open with a thud that scared the shit out of me
"why are you screaming?" he asked coldly but yeah I could sense a bit of worry lacing his voice
"I just called rora and josh but none of them came so I decided to yell and here we are my plan worked" I smirked
"fine Ms attitude they left for the car and I didn't hear you anyways you ready to go?"
I nodded and looked around the room for the wheelchair but I couldn't find it when out of nowhere I felt myself in the air
I squealed out of surprise just then I realised that I'm being carried by matteo and when I tell you our faces were close I mean it we're inches apart!
"w-what are you doing?" I face palmed myself mentally for stuttering
"taking you home" he replied in duh tone
"yeah no shit Sherlock couldn't you just 'take me home' in a wheelchair?"
"too bad too late" he smirked placing me in the car closing the door softly
Then he moved to the driver's seat and we started our way home I guess?!
Time skip
*At home*
We heard dome noise coming from the living room as we entered the mansion, matteo picked me up bridal style AGAIN and followed the noise.
"Matteo" he hummed "you do realise that I have a wheelchair actually you got me one"
"yes??"
"yea so why do you carry me around?" I asked slightly annoyed
"why do you ask so many questions?"
"ughh, that's not an answer" I rolled my eyes
I noticed that we arrived and as I looked around I found some familiar faces and some new ones I guess these are the rest of the gang.
"Avaaa, you're here finally, I've missed you" she squealed
"how can you miss me we just saw each other less than an hour ago?" I laughed
"eh way to feel your love V darling" she sighed dramatically
"aww of course I love you my baby rora" I cooed trying to get out of Matteo's firm grip to pinch her cheeks but as soon as I moved a felt a shooting pain in my ribs make me wince and all eyes are now on me!
Yup, good move you idiot now you embarrassed yourself further in front of them
"are you okay?" Matteo asked calmly yet worried
"umm yes I guess my lovely ribs didn't take my sudden move nicely" I smiled
"sir lunch is ready" a maid said out of nowhere which caused me to jump a tiny bit which didn't go unnoticed with the creepy observant man I'm currently in his arms but thankfully he didn't comment
We had lunch and they introduced me to the rest of the gang but I got to know that it's always matteo, josh, Enzo, belle and rora obviously which calmed my nerves I don't get along with big groups of people, so for them I guess were fine they're actually good people specially josh he's funny Enzo at first intimidated me but after 5 minutes or less I found out that he's a softie inside that cold façade!
Sensing my tiredness Matteo excused us and carried me I won't object anymore he won't budge
Anyways he got me to my room which is beside rora's and right across from his
I guess this is my new home let's see what the future bring me to surely anything coming is better from what I've been through
I didn't realise that till that moment that I didn't think about the latest events of my life
Sighing I allowed whoever is knocking to come in
"come inn" I yelled
The door opened revealed all the gang as they made their way in and made themselves comfortable in my room in a shockingly calming silence till Enzo and Isa shared a look and the next thing I know is that I'm showered with questions about what happened to me
Didn't they tell them?
"it was not our place to tell" josh said
"did I say that out loud?" I chuckled and they all nodded
After telling them my story with a bit of tears some unshed and some falling like Niagara Falls!
Thennn they decided to cheer me up that's not surprising what actually did what matteo did
He for 4 hours was trying to make jokes and make me laugh what the actual hell?! Where did the all scary guy go? Is he high on something? I kept overthinking till I felt sleepy and they all where and then here we are all cuddled on my bed squishing each other a bit and guess after a lot of shuffling who I ended up cuddling with? Yup that's right
