☆Third POV☆
"This cafeteria food sucks"
The sound of a metal tray hitting the lunch table slightly echoed as a girl, around 5 '3 had brown hair and eyes who wore glasses sat down. A displeased look written all over her face.
"Geez, chill Mel. It's just lunch." Her friend scoffed, taking the girl's lunch and eating it instead. "Look, I just really wanna eat something good, okay?! Also, gimme those chips!"
Mel quickly snatches the chips that were on the tray and starts eating them. Her friend gives her a deadpan look before they continue eating.
"Our quarterlys are coming up. And it's only October!" Mel's other friend sighs, their attention still on their game. "Man, I haven't study for algebra!" Another friend exclaimed with devastation.
"I mean, it's only in a few weeks. You'll probably at least get some of the learning material down." Mel replies nonchalantly, her phone already out, and on a game.
"You're right, but you know, this is our sophomore year, next we'll be juniors!" Her friend sighs. "Yeah. Man, freshman year was crazy!" Mel laughed.
"Remember that drama between those two girls in the bathroom? It was funny as hell!" Another friend grinned. "Literally playing with two girls at once is insane!"
Mel only nods in response before she looks back at her phone, patiently waiting for something. This piqued her friend's interest, peeking over her shoulder.
The screen displayed six characters sitting in class, supposedly answering questions and gaining three or to one star.
"So, whatchu playing?" Her friend mumbled. "Oh! Twisted wonderland! The English version just released!" Mel smiled as the lesson was now complete, ranking a card of dark blue hair guy up.
"And... that guy?" Her friend slightly tilts their head while Mel grins. "My very favorite character of all time! Deuce spade, I pretty much love him and kin him!" Mel squealed.
"If you're so in love, why don't you marry him?" Friend said sarcastically. "I know he ain't real. I can only dream." Mel pouts.
