The gate of the modern looking house opened with a loud "clank" and a familiar face appeared in front of the car "Fucking finally, I'm almost tired just by standing there waiting for your slow asses"

Kazuha went outside the car to greet his friend and try to lighten his mood as much as possible, while you asked Gorou a couple of questions "Gorou, did you know Scara lives here? He's close to my house, so close yet I never saw him, did he transfer here recently? And why the heck didn't Kazuha just told me we had to pick him up too? I would have liked to get warned..."

"Mh, I didn't know where he lives and don't know since when he lives here, but I don't see why you're so worked up. Do you need to get prepared in a special way if there's him? And we all knew he was coming, Hu Tao said it in the group chat, just didn't know we were going to pick him up, do you-"

"Ok Gorou, thanks, you can stop analyzing the situation in every detail" you laughed lightly "I just should have started to figure out what to say to him when he'll start to say something dumb or mean or one of his 'jokes', I kinda need to be prepared for that"

The car door of the seat next to you opened, and an angry and maybe disappointed Scaramouche appeared right in front of your eyes. Kazuha entered the car once again too, and started the vehicle to finally drive to the amusement park, while Gorou gave his full attention to the street. You doubted he suffered from car sickness, he probably wanted to escape the awkward situation of the back seats.

None of the four passengers was talking, beside some words here and there: Kazuha focused on driving and the other three just staring somewhere. You had your elbow on the surface near the window, one of your hands cupped your cheek and the other was holding the phone on your thigh, screen up, your purse just laying next to you. Hu Tao wrote something in the group chat, and the notification made the screen lit up.

Scaramouche saw your locksreen immediately and his heart skipped a beat. Was he really happy just for that...? "What's the picture?" With the usual flat and demanding tone, his voice reached you and you turned around to face him baffled. Then you noticed he was staring at your phone. But his voice didn't match his face, he had slightly flushed cheeks and his eyes were wide, big and shining, like the ones of a kid who won a huge bag of candies.

"You're spying what my lockscreen is?"

"Oh my god, I wasn't spying. Your mum is right, you get worked up really easily"

Gorou turned around in a blink, and Kazuha, even if he knew Scaramouche slept at your house that day, looked at you two from the mirror. The older boy asked you the one million worth question "He met your mum?! What?! Why, when? Can I meet her too?"

You decided to just hum as a response to the poor cute guy. You didn't want to treat him coldly, but you had a problem to deal with, with another totally different guy who actually happened to be right there too.

"Shut up, shut it. I swear if they get some weird ideas just because you like teasing me, I'm gonna strangle you" you whispered to Scaramouche, getting closer to him, while Gorou turned around once more, getting the hint to leave you two to it.

"Is that supposed to be a threat?" The boy next to you said smirking and raising an eyebrow. You couldn't help but think <<Is he a psychopath...?>>. He wanted to tease you, of course, as often happens, too bad you were too innocent to grasp the real meaning of his words. Not much of a reaction, he wasn't pleased at all.
