Blasting music and strong alcohol odour were all they could feel as both Malhotra and Khurana couple entered the club. They went to the table booked for them and settled down. They all were discussing ordering drinks when they heard someone.

Voice: Kya baat hai? Hamare ane se pehle hi drinks order kar rahe ho?

They all looked up and grinned seeing Mukti and Abhi. Manik stood up and hugged Abhi whereas Nandini went to Mukti.

Nandini: Hey Mommy-to-be! Looking sexy!

Mukti: Says the one who looks like a bomb!

Both ladies laughed and hugged each other.

Abhi: *frowning* Sometimes I wonder if you two are having an affair with each other behind our back.

Manik: For the first time, I wonder the same thing as this idiot!

Mukti: *winking* Abhi, darling affairs are meant to be behind the back of our partners.

Abhi frowned and Nandini giggled whereas Mukti went forward to meet Vridhi and Aryaman.

Nandini: *side hugging Abhi* Don't be jealous bhai! Mai apne bhai ki life mai aag nahi lagaungi...

Abhi: *wiping fake tears* Ye upkar ke liye bohot bohot shukriya behna.

Nandini giggled whereas Manik smacked his head for his drama. Abhi then went towards Vridhi and Aryaman and met them.

Nandini: How are you Muku di? How's everything going?

Mukti: *sighs* Still waiting!

Vridhi: *holding Mukti's hand* You will be a brilliant mom di! Don't worry! Your application will soon be successful.

Mukti smiled at her and nodded. Abhimanyu and Mukti were trying for a baby ever since they got married 4 years ago but they couldn't conceive. When shown to her gynaecologist, she suggested IVF but Mukbhi denied it. They didn't want to force it if it doesn't come naturally. But soon while discussing all of this, both realised that they just want a baby so it shouldn't be so hard, it doesn't matter if it's their own. If not their own and they could still raise the baby with love and care then what difference does it make? So they decided to adopt. But convincing their parents was yet another task. They convinced Mukti's parents but convincing Abhi's parents was hard. It's not like they were narrow-minded or something instead they were worried about the child when he finds out he is adopted. Abhi's father shared this with Manik and asked him to convince Abhi. Manik was in a fix now as Abhi was right but he couldn't oppose Abhi's father either. Nandini supported him in this and convinced Manik to visit Abhi's parents and make them understand. Manik went to their place and made Abhi's parents understand that if the child comes to know, it's up to Mukbhi and the grandparents to make him understand that he was so special that his or her parents couldn't resist making him part of their life. It wasn't out of sympathy, it was immense love that they felt for the child and decided to bring him or her home. This relieved his parents as they didn't think about it from this perspective and eventually gave in. So currently Mukbhi's application is in progress.

They all sat down for drinks but Nandini jumped remembering something.

Nandini: Abhi bhai, aap ne bola tha Maan ke liye surprise hai? Kya hai?

Abhi: Are haan, wait let me call.

Abhi went away while Nandini was dying out of curiosity. Manik chuckled and pulling her closer kissed her temple telling her to relax and she pouted at him which he pecked. They moved apart when they heard a clearing of throats from Mukti, Vridhi and Aryaman.

Manik: *rolling his eyes* Grow up guys, not like you don't do any of this with your partners..

Nandini: *wide eyes and hitting his shoulder* Shhh.. shameless!
