All the people stood shocked at the child's outburst, Malachi was the first person to speak.
Malachi: Umm...Genesis? This is so sudden, are you sure you want to make Rin your subordinate?
Genesis: Yes, she's perfect.
Rin: What's a subordinate?
Malachi: A subordinate is a God's right hand man and/or woman. They also are next in line to be the next God.
Rin: But I barely know you Genesis. Why do you want me?
Genesis: We'll get to know each other. Please? I want you to be my subordinate.
Rin: ....Okay.
Genesis was happily hugging Rin's leg as he was talking about how thier gonna be best friends. Then suddenly a man walked into the room, he seemed to be a gaurdian.
Gaurdian: Malachi, what are you doing here? The God's are supposed to meet the newcomers!
Malachi: Oh, I forgot. haha
Rin: Wait...YOU'RE A GOD?!
Gaurdian: He certainly is and is not supposed to be showing a Manifestation of Sloth around.
Genesis: MY SUBORDINATE HAS A NAME YOU KNOW!!!
Malachi: Guess this is my time to leave. Bye you two, see you at the party tomorrow!
As Malachi left, Rin stood in the room confused. She could barely collect any sense of the situation.
Rin: Wait, what about a party?
Genesis: Once every month all the Gods and subordinates have a party and go crazy with each other. But that doesn't matter now, it's already night time, we need to sleep.
Rin: What? It was daytime when I got here.
She rushed to the nearest window and noticed that yes, it was night time.
Genesis: Oh? Did Malachi forget to tell you that time goes faster in the Temple of Sloth? Come on, I'll Show you to your room.
Rin and Genesis walked through the hallway that seemed like mazes till they stopped at a door.
Genesis: This room is your room. My room is right next to you if you need me Ri-Ri.
The tired girl walked into her new room and laid on her bed. She let sleep envelop her as she dosed off. A couple hours later, Rin heard her door opening, she sat up from her bed to see Genesis crying.
Genesis: C-can I sleep with you tonight...?
Rin: Okay, get in here.
Genesis quickly shut the door and got up onto Rin's bed. Rin stroked Genesis' head soflty.
Rin: Do you wanna talk about it?
Genesis was silent, he didn't know what to say.
Rin: You don't hav-
Genesis: It was Avarice, my brother...I saw what happened again. I couldn't help him...It's all my fault!
The boy cried harder into the girl, she tried to calm him down, but had her efforts in vain. About 30 minutes later Genesis had fallen back to sleep. Rin laid back down on the bed, careful not to wake up the boy on her and fell back to sleep as well.
*The next morning*
Rin: So, where's the party gonna be at?
Genesis: At the Temple of Mischief, they throw the best parties.
Servant: Genesis!! Rin!! You gonna have to get in the portal quickly if you want to make it to the party on time!!
The two faced where the portal was. Genesis held Rin's hand as they walked in together.
The party was filled with people that Rin didn't know, but Genesis surely did by the way he talked to them and the way he was bragging and showing off Rin like she's a trophy. Rin told Genesis that she was going to look around the Temple of Mischief, she started to walk around and enjoy the sound of the music in the background until a whole new sound came into Rin's ears altogether.
