Eleana

"Eleana! Mail! Looks like a letter from California University!" I heard amanda yell up the stairs..
I squeal running down the stairs nearly nocking my brother down in the process..

"WATCH IT ELEANA!" I heard Jason yell after me.
Brushing off his comment Amanda places the envelope in my hands and I waste no time opening it..

Dear Ms Bennet,
You are accepted to the University of California..

That's enough for me to read.. "MUM!! I GOT IN I GOT IN I GO IN!" I squeal running up to her bedroom

"Eleana! Stop yelling! Now whats this about?" Mum said sternly.

"I GOT IN! I DID IT! ALL MY HARD WORK HAS FINALLY PAID OFF MUM IM MOVING TO AMERICA!"

"No you arent. Dont be ridiculous Eleana you have to stay her so we can start looking for someone you can be happy with and who can run your fathers company" she says in a laughing tone,

"Mother! YOU CANT DO THAT! I'VE TOLD YOU BEFORE I DON'T NEED YOU TO INTERRUPT INTO MY LOVE LIFE!"  I shouted at her and ran out of her room crying. When i ran past Jason he took one look at me and started chasing after me,

I rush into my room and all of a sudden my face loved my pillow, I feel a hand on my shoulder and instantly recognized it to be Jason's "go away" I sob crying harder into my pillow, "I'll talk to her baby sis you'll follow your dreams it'll be okay"

"No it wont be," i sobbed, "you know how she is. She hates that i want my own live she doesnt want to see me laugh or love she just wants me to cry"

"ELEANA!"
I hear her yell from the end of the hallway,
Groaning I get up and dont even bother wiping off the tears streaming down my face,
I walk back to her room, "WHAT? WHAT MORE COULD YOU POSSIBLY WANT FROM ME!" I shout at her, not able to control my emotions,

I didnt even have the time to understand what was happening before she was across she room and she has slapped me in the face, "HOW DARE YOU BE SO SELFISH! YOUR FATHER WORKS SO DAMN HARD YOU REPAY HIM BY BEING A SPOILT LITTLE BRAT!"

And with that Jason comes storming into the room and pushes me out the door, "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? RUNNING AROUND ACTING LIKE YOU OWN THE JOINT?! SHE'S MY DAUGHTER AND ILL DO AS I DAMN WELL PLEASE!" 

"BECAUSE IM YOUR SON! AND SHE'S MY SISTER!"

"YOU WERE ADOPTED YOUR NOT MY SON YO-" and then it went silent,

"Come on El," Jason said in a calm voice, "we're leaving."

"Wha- what do you mean your leaving? You can't leave?!"
She screeches at the top of her lungs half not knowing what to say,

"Yes. She. Can," Jason tells her, "she's 18 tomorrow."
And with that we grab an over night bag each and leave..
Just as jason opens the drivers side door Amanda comes running out of the house,
"ELEANA! JASON! WAIT!"  She yells running down the porch steps,
"I just wanted to wish you good luck and to give you your acceptance letter, your purse and your phone el, happy birthday for tomorrow your an amazing young woman I hope for your futures sake your mother will come around, she will let you go, if not I give you permission  to go, she's never here to look after you so I'm basically your legal guardian, now GO!"

and with that we drive down the street thinking of where were staying tonight..
