600 years ago, the human race lived a primary mutation that gave birth to a new species : elves.
Elves were feared by the population because of their difference. Even if they could seem human at first sight, some details showed their belonging to the elvish race. Pointed ears, misty or shiny eyes according to their mood and hair silkier than normal. Add to that surnatural powers and predispositions for hunting and fighting.Because the humans' hate towards them, elves had to hide, and they have now lived in the forest of Avalon for 600 years. This forest is the largest on Earth, and no one has find them yet. There is just one problem. Still today, humans give birth to baby elves. This is why some of them called protectors, are responsible for bringing the babies safely in the forest, at the camp, without humans noticing.
Since exactly 618 years now, elves are living a prosper life close to the nature. But each of them havce to stay prepared for a possible discovery and attack of their territory bythe humans. Each member of the clan therefore follows lessons for archery, sword fighting, hiking, running, endurance and communication with the plants and animals.
Plus,every elf has facilities or special powers of his own.
Elves have a calender that is really different from ours. They indeed have twelve months just like humans, but those have really different names :
January= Salutary
February= Crystalline
March= Ocarina
April= Atlantis
May= Eclipse
June= Exodus
July= Damnation
August= Solstice
September= Equinox
October= Coalition
November= Silver
December= Vorpalin
Moreover, their year system is much more different from than the human's. Forexample, year 2004 is year 600 for the elves, and also the 300th lunar year.
Examples : 2003=300th solar year ( year 599 )
2004=300th lunar year (year 600 )
2005=301th solar year ( year 601 )
2006=301th lunar year (year 602 )
Odd years are solar years and pair years are lunar years.
