Josuke and Okuyasu looked at their new surroundings. It was a city that looks like it had been abandoned and decimated.

Okuyasu rubbed the back of his head as he looked around. "What do you think happened here Josuke?"

Josuke was still in shock not sure what to think. "I have no idea Okuyasu, but we shouldn't stay here long."

Okuyasu and Josuke began walking down the street with only the eerie silence accompanying them. All of the buildings were old and broken. Just hown long were they abandoned for? What made everyone abandon it? Was there anyone left? All of these questions were flying through the friend's heads. These thoughts all came to a stop when they began to hear growling in front of them.

From the dust came a weird dog with a black body with certain parts glowing blue. It appearance was almost reptilian. Josuke and Okuyasu were stopped dead in their tracks.

Okuyasu shouted "Ew! That is one ugly dog!"

Okuyasu's shouting had alerted two more of these reptile dogs and they joined up with the one infront of them.

Josuke looked at Okuyasu "What should we do?"

Okuyasu, out of some miracle, had an enormous brain moment and remembered something. "You remember that trick your dad taught us?"

Josuke raised and eyebrow. "Yeah, what about it?"

Okuyasu "We can distract them and do that."

Josuke nodded at Okuyasu's suggestion and picked up a rock and whispered. "Crazy Diamond."

Crazy Diamond's pink and blue arm emerged from Josuke holding the rock and flicked it into a pile of rubble that was barely being held up. The pile of rocks gave out and the dogs turned to face the sudden loud noise. When they turned away from the sudden debris slide, they saw the two running for their lives at a speed that would make Joseph Joestar himself jealous. The reptile dogs then began to give chase to the two, rapidly catching up.

Josuke yelled to Okuyasu "What do we do now!?"

Okuyasu then realized he did not fully think out this plan. "I didn't get that far!"

Josuke began to hear the noise of running water from in front of them. "Hey! I hear water up ahead! Maybe we can ditch them there!"

Okuyasu nodded and began to pick up the pace with Josuke. They eventually saw a fallen skyscraper over a waterfall. Strangely there was a large chunk taken out of one of the sides along with some weird blue substance on one of the sides. Josuke and Okuyasu began hopping along the skyscraper with the dogs following closely behind. Josuke turned around to see how close the dogs were to see one of them lunging at him.

He thought fast and summoned Crazy Diamond to slug it in the face "DORA!"

The dog was sent plummeting into the water below into the river. Josuke begins scrambling over the bridge. The remaining two dogs made it across the bridge with Josuke and Okuyasu. The two friends decided to stand their ground this time now that it was a fair fight. Josuke and Okuyasu summoned their stands: The Hand and Crazy Diamond. The dogs began to circle the pair as if they could see their stands.

Josuke moved Crazy Diamond to his left and the dogs eyes followed it. Josuke said "Hey Okuyasu. I think they can see our stands."

Okuyasu began walking forward "How can they?! You know what? It doesn't matter! Let's kick their asses!"

The Hand swiped the air in front of Okuyasu and the space was erased and the dogs were being pulled to fill the gap. Unfortunately, some stuff behind the dogs was also pulled and one of those was a rock about the size of a golf ball. Almost as if history was repeating itself, the rock soared through the air and smacked Okuyasu on the forehead.

Okuyasu began rubbing his head furiously. "Ow, Ow, Ow, Ow, Ow!"

The dog that had originally approached Okuyasu, but was promptly interrupted by many, many punches.

The source of this barrage was Crazy Diamond and Josuke. "DORA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA!"

The dog was sent flying into some loose concrete and smacked into it and hit the ground. It got up and roared that the pair, but it had its spine caved in by falling concrete. The last dog ran at Josuke and reached out to swipe at him, but was cut off by having half of its body erased. It was barely able to process what had happened, before the remainder of it was erased by The Hand. Josuke plopped to the ground and let of a sigh of relief.

Josuke looked up at Okuyasu. "Thanks for looking out for me."

Okuyasu gave Josuke a thumbs up. "I'm not gonna let some weird dog take out my best bro like that."

Okuyasu helped Josuke to his feet and resumed moving forward.

After quite a bit of walking Josuke and Okuyasu were tired. They propped up against an old building to rest.

Josuke then noticed something off in the distance and pointed it out. "Do you see that?"

Okuyasu looked around "See what?"

Josuke turned Okuyasu's head in the direction of what he was seeing. It was a large Orange and Blue robot that was unmoving on the ground.

Okuyasu had stars in his eyes looking at the enormous machine. "Race you to it!" And he took off running.

Josuke stumbled after him. "I wasn't ready cheater!"

They made it to the robot and began climbing on it until they noticed an opening on the head. Josuke jumped in with Okuyasu landing on top of him.

Josuke began to touch everything. "Look how cool this is!"

Okuyasu began jumping up and down. "I know! It reminds me of a manga I read!"

Their excitement was interrupted by a blue glow lighting up the inside.

An unknown voice said "Warning. You are not permitted to be inside this jaeger. State your names."

Josuke looked around confused until his attention focused on the blue orb in the center of the robot. "Hi. Who are you?"

The orb spoke. "I am Loa, designa-" until it was interrupted by Okuyasu. "The robot is talking!"

The orb spoke again after Okuyasu was done. "I am Loa, designated AI of Atlas Destroyer, The jaeger you are currently in."

Josuke rubbed his chin and thought to himself 'So this robot is called a jaeger.'

Josuke spoke up. "I have a question."

Loa seemed to almost sigh. "What is your question?"

Josuke then presented his question. "On our way here, me and my friend were attacked by weird lizard dogs. Do you know what they are?"

Loa seemed to buffer for a moment before answering. "Those 'Lizard Dogs' are Rippers, a category 1 kaiju."

Okuyasu was in the corner, touching stuff. "These are weird looking helmets."

Loa had decided at that moment that from then on, Okuyasu was to be treated like a small child. "Please, do not touch those."

Josuke sat next to Okuyasu and propped up against the wall. "Guess we aren't getting back home anytime soon."

Josuke then remembered something he had to do. "Oh no! I forgot to do the dishes! Mom is going to kill me!"

His sorrows were interrupted by voices outside of the jaeger. "We didn't even get the power cell. What are we going to do now?"

Another voice replied. "I don't know Hayley, but we'll figure it out."

The entrance to the jaegers head opened and in stepped a boy and a girl with a small child with blue hair. "Alright Loa we're back."

The two stopped when they saw Okuyasu and Josuke and both parties sat in silence for a few seconds.

Loa then broke the silence. "This appears to be an Awkward situation."
