,,Really? That's all you got?

They got inside the van. Well, car/van. Alaric was sitting on the driving seat, Hope was right next to him as she was supposed to. Caroline, Josie and Lizzie were sitting right behind them. And Penelope and MG were on the back seats just like the last time. With the only change of Hope and Caroline seats. Sebastian took by his car like the last time.

Hope wasn't very pleased by this fact. She thought she'd be sitting next to Josie, all talking, showing each other things on their phones, mayne they could've shared some stolen kisses even watch a movie cuddled in each other. But instead, she sat next to Alaric, listening to his old dad jokes and all the comments he made about her.

,,Hey, Hope." He said, laughing because he had an idea of a new torture for the short auburn-haired girl that was sitting next to him. ,,Yes?" Hope asked, trying very hard not to show the announce that was hidden inside her voice. She turned her head to face him but his eyes never left the road.

,,So you have activated your wolf form, right?" He asked. Hope didn't know where was this heading but she decided not to pay attention at it. ,,Yes... why?" She asked cautiously. He let a small laugh out and didn't manage to respond. ,,Yes, why?" Hope asked with a higher tone and a bit hint of announce in her voice now showed.

Josie was observing everything from the back seat. She didn't let the two of them go off her sight. The brunette girl saw the announce in her girlfriend's laugh but she didn't know how to help. However, she tried to interrupt every joke or mean comment her dad started making. Whether she said she need water, or food, or to go to toilet. Once she even said she needed to throw up.

,,I was wondering if you could give me that wooffle?" He said and started laughing. Lizzie let a little laugh to escape her mouth. Not like it was the funniest joke ever but she just did.

Hope turned her head to him. She picked up the waffle and gave it to him with the darkest nice smile she could make. Everyone was surprised. As a werewolf Hope was supposed to have very thin nerves but she didn't react to any of Alaric's jokes so far. And they were pretty teasing.

,,Really?" Hope said. ,,That's all you got?" The girl added. She knew she was starting a war but she was ready to hop in it. The man laughter stopped immediately. No one has every stood up against his jokes. And he was surprised.

All the other Josie's girfrends and boyfriends just nodded, completely ignoring him just so he could like them. They even laughed at some of the jokes. But Hope was different. She didn't care. She knew Alaric already didn't like her and she had nothing to do about it. She was fearless and she wasn't afraid to tell him what she thinks. He found it kinda... impressive.

He didn't make another joke until they got to the school. He didn't want to admit he was defeated. But he didn't even have to. Hope already knew she won. She always win. That's the feeling of being a Mikeaslon.

They arrived at the school. Hope's black Audi was parked exactly where she left it. Sebastian's car, or should it be said, Damon Salvatore's car was right next to her.

The vampire boy got out of it and hugged Lizzie. ,,Hey, you are here" Lizzie said. The boy nodded. ,,Have you been waiting inside this car this entire time for me?" She asked. Then he nodded again and landed to kiss her.

Alaric cleared his throat. ,,Well, Sebastian. Since you are here, feel free to help MG with the bags." He said. Sebastian formed a thight smile and picked up three bags.

,,Hey, Jooo!" A familiar short, dark haired girl came closer to Josie, just about to hug her. But not close enough. Hope put her hand on the coming girls chest, stopping her movements.

,,Not so fast, deadwolf." The tribrid added. ,,I actually want to talk to Josie, not you." The girl said. ,,I actually didn't ask." Hope responded.

,,Josie do something." Finch said. Hope turned to look at Josie. ,,I don't feel like talking with you." Josie said avoind eye contact.

,,See? Josie doesn't want to. And if I were you I wouldn't be so brave to face me again. Especially when you lost the first." Hope said proudly.

Finch scoffed and backed off. She walked away without looking back.

,,Hope, honey, please come in." Caroline said once she noticed everyone is going in, expect hope. A knowing smile appeared on Josie's face. Hope looked confused but she still managed to come in.

Hope stood on the front before entering and grabbed Josie's wrist.

,,What's wrong?" Josie asked. ,,Nothing. I... I just wanted to say I had a really good time with you these days. That's all." Hope said with a missing look.

In fact, she will miss Josie. I mean, 5 days together, not a moment spent apart from each other was enough for Hope to get super attached.

,,Aw, Hope." Josie said with a cute tone but quickly got to normal speaking. ,,Just get inside, okay?" Josie said and opened the door without even waiting for Hope's answer.

Now that was suspicious. And it really confused Hope. It wasn't quite the answer Hope expected.

Hope entered to boarding school right after Josie. The tribrid was shocked to see the room was dark. Then from nowhere, the lights turned on and everyone started screaming. A poster on the wall was saying: ,,Welcome to the school."

,,Hope, honey, we were wondering if you would like to join our school. We aren't sure which school are you going to now but we would love to become a part of ours." Caroline said. ,,Right, Alaric?" She asked right after.

,,Yes, sure, absolutely." The man responded quickly. Caroline poked his arm. ,,Hope, we would love you to. Such a student like you could help here a lot. And we think you belong here." He added.

Everyone looked at Hope waiting for her answer. ,,Come on, doggie. Yes or No." Lizzie said a bit annoyed by all the waiting.

,,So what are you saying, Hope?" Josie asked with eyes full of desire for the auburn-haired girl to stay. What are you saying, Hope?

Two months, huh? I'm so so sorry for all this waiting. I try so so hard to find time but I can't. Also my motivation went down with Kaylee's leaving Legacies. But I promise to be more active.
