The Unknown- Chapter 1

Josheline's P.O.V.

I got up screaming. I looked around my room, to find that I was alone and it was really dark. I had another one of those nightmares where I was killing some human ... And she was a child.

I get out of my bed, and walked to the window. I could see it was still early, and there was hardly a car in sight. I sighed and walked to my wardrobe, pulling on jeans and a black shirt and headed to the door. On the way to the door, I heard my 6 week old kitten, Delilah, meow for milk. I walked up to her, and tickled her chin, and got some milk for her. Then I opened a window to let some air in, I grabbed my keys and headed to my front door.

Living in Sheltasia, a small village, where everyone know's the other, is pretty cool. You could easily walk to the mall, which was 3 blocks down the road, to your friends house, who's probably in the same street as you. Everyone is so happy, and merry.

Walking to my friends house, was quiet and peaceful. Now and again a few dogs would wake up to bark at me, and when I didn't pay attention to them, they huffed and went back to sleep. Dogs are so weird. I prefer cats. They are mysterious, and different. They don't rely on anyone, they're independent and they're free. Kind of like me. Dogs on the other hand, want your full attention 24/7, and when they don't receive it, they break down everything in site to just get a little pat. They're dependant ... Too dependant.

I turned into 5th street, walking to a dark purple, medium sized house, flowers of different kind surrounding it, and a very happy dog. Yup, that's my dog-lover best friend from way back in my Primary School years, Fallon Smith. She's known to be the expert of all kinds of flowers, books, dogs and even cooking. I shook my head and smiled as her dog, Juno, barked happily at me. I rang the door-bell a few times, just to annoy her. I heard a grumpy, sleepy voice saying, "If you fucking ring my fucking doorbell again, I will fucking fuck you the fuck up!"

Something you need to know about Fallon ...

Do not wake her up at 5am. She is not a morning person, never was, and never will be ...

She opened her front door and shouted, "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT JOSHELINE?!"

I tried my best not to laugh at my best friend, since  her hair was all mattered and all over the place. She had a deep frown on her face, and her eye's were groggy from the lack of sleep. She was wearing dark purple boxers, with a 'Hello Kitty' camisole on. I giggled. I got that pajama's for her birthday 2 years ago, and she's still wearing it.

"Josh, man," Fallon groaned, " The fuck do you want? Vampire or not, I will still kick your ass for waking me up."

Yes, Fallon knew I was a Vampire. She helped me when necessary, whenever I got into my blood fits, she was always the one to calm me down. Just like she always used to keep me alive when I was a child.

"Sorry Fal," I said and smiled at her angry expresion, "I just needed someone to talk to."

"SOMEONE TO BLOODY TALK TO AT FUCKING 5am IN THE MORNING?!", She screamed, waking a few dogs in the process, who were barking like mad. "The fuck happened that is so fucking important for me to fucking know?"

I sighed and said, "I'll explain everything inside. And plus, remember you promised me a morning walk?" I smirked at the last part, making Fallon frown even harder.

"Fine, alright, get your fucking ass in my fucking house so we can fucking talk." Fallon said angrily.

I smiled happily and walked cheerfully into the house, pissing Fallon off even more. "Can you not do that, Josh?" Fallon said, exasperated by my mood in the morning.
