She walked through the museum for the fourth time that week, wishing he would be there again. She went every other day, hoping he was working just so she could hear his adorable London little accent which she found adorable. Not to forget his messy, dark hair that he pushed his hand through every now and then to try and neaten it up. His awkward stance and his adorable stuttering through random sentences. Oh god she just adored the British man.

As she approached the Egyptian room, she saw the back of his head. It felt as if butterflies invaded her stomach, edging her further on to say hello to the man she had come for.

"Hey Steven, fancy seeing you again." She smiled as he whipped his head room, a smile sewing itself onto his face.

"Oh Y/N I was wondering when I'd see you again! I thought you had gone." He smiled, his eyes bursting with excitement and joy as he rushed to put down the things he was selling.

"Oh, please I would never leave you, what on earth would you do without me?" She grinned, the two of them walking down the corridors of the museum.

"So, what have you been up to recently? Anything exciting?" He asked, a clear amount of nervousness laced within his tone.

"Steven please you don't have to be nervous with me, but no not much recently. Then again, I did see somebody wearing a hippo mask get into my elevator." She laughed, happy once she heard a laugh emit from Steven's mouth. When would this man just ask for her number?

"I wish I had hippo's wondering around my building, just a few elderly people." He chuckled, still feeling a bit anxious upon speaking to the girl.

"Well, you could happily come round, explore the interesting grey corridors of rented apartment." She beamed; tone full of sarcasm as Steven's eyes twinkled, however he was slightly switching his eyes between hers and past her shoulder where the mirror was, for the kids to see themselves in the Egyptian dress up clothes.

"I think I'll have to take you up on the offer, here... gimme a sec." He said, looking away from the mirror and at her, rummaging through his pockets, finally pulling out a phone and handing it to her, a bright smile on her face.

"There, I've also put my address in the messages so come round, let's say 8pm tonight? It's when most of the ordinary people have gone to bed." She laughed, Steven's expression full of even more joy than it was before, his eyes twinkling with excitement.

"Yeah course, see you at 8." He smiled as they both reached the museum exit.

"See you tonight." She waved, giggling slightly as she looked over her shoulder a few seconds later to spot him doing a quick hop and skip of happiness before disappearing around the corner.

Once she got home she ran to tidy up the place, the piles of hoodies and sweaters being stuffed in the bottom of the wardrobe, she said she would wear them eventually and weren't dirty enough to wash, however weren't clean enough to hang up. The pizza boxes she hadn't be arsed to throw in the bin, being stuffed into the bin, squashed down to fit the rest of the rubbish in. She set her Spotify playlist on shuffle mode, continuing to clean the apartment as the time neared close to 19:30 on her phone. She ran to the shower, washed her hair and body and quickly got out and began to dry her hair, soon getting changed just as it hit 8. She sat down on her sofa and put on the TV, waiting for Stevens arrival.

However, it had gone past an hour and he wasn't showing. A pit remained in Y/N's stomach, an empty feeling. She thought Steven would have been nice and different than her ex, who always ignored and stood her up, yet all men must be the same. Even if Steven was adorable, cute and seemed like he would never hurt a fly.

As she went to pour herself a glass of vodka and coke, she heard a knock at the door. Typical men. Late and won't act any different. She walked to the door and opened it, Steven standing awkwardly in the doorway.

"I'm so sorry I'm late, I wasn't looking at the time and got caught up." He said awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck as Y/N immediately noticed a cut just above his brow and his lip looking redder than usual. A bit bloody. He didn't seem to notice her looking at his injuries and passed her a bouquet of flowers, as well as a bottle of wine and box of chocolates.

"Gosh Steven at least let me clean up your lip first." She worried, not intruding on why he was injured in the first place yet.

"Oh is it noticeable? Don't worry about it please." He chuckled, Y/N rushing around her apartment to find some wipes as Steven closed the door behind himself.

"Just come here, are you hurt anywhere else?" She worried.

"Y/N please, I'm fine. Anyways I'm the one who was late so I should be directing my attention to you." He chuckled, smiling that bright smile which she adored, the twinkle in his eyes returning.

"Okay okay, let me just clean up your blood." She laughed, Steven admiring her features when suddenly she grabbed his chin and pulled his head down slightly to wipe the blood from his eyebrow, putting a plaster over it.

"So uhm, you were watching TV?" He asked, flustered slightly from the slight contact.

"Yep, but I was about to put on Disney, want to watch anything in particular?" She smiled as she sat down, leaving Steven to find the glass cupboard and pour the two of them a glass of wine each, Y/N finding herself opening the chocolates and looking at any flavours.

"Could we watch Lion King?" He asked, his eyes full of excitement as she giggled slightly at his enthusiasm.

"I'd love to." She commented, Steven sitting beside her and passing her a glass as the pair began to watch Lion King, to Steven's absolute joy.

As the film progressed Y/N gradually inched closer to Steven's warmth, unnoticed. She had purposely left the windows wide open so she'd get cold, as well as him so she had an excuse to get closer to him. Luckily, she soon noticed him shivering slightly, taking away a smile off her face as she turned to him.

"You cold? I've only got one blanket and that's my quilt, but I'm chilly myself."

"Oh that's fine you have it, I'll be fine." He smiled, bringing his arms to his chest.

"Oh no we can just share it." She smiled, getting up to walk to her room with a smug look on her face, pleased her plan was working. She soon returned, the blanket practically covering her whole body as she sat back on the sofa, throwing the blanket over the both of them as she got closer to him, pulling his arm around her shoulders. His face flushed red, smiling widely as he shuffled slightly to make himself comfortable, pulling Y/N closer to his chest as she felt his hot breath on her neck, smiling happily.
