After capturing Marco, they brought him to a makeshift base at the raptor paddock. There, Tim had an ankle monitor attached to Marco's right ankle. If he tries to escape, he will be easily tracked or stopped by getting shocked on it. Hoskins was glaring at Marco from the corner, pissed off that his men were easily beaten by one guy. He wanted to punch him so badly for making them look like a fool, but Jay was there as he prevented Hoskins from coming near him. They've been preparing to leave Isla Nublar to Isla Sorna. Tim's men arrived early in the morning, about twenty US Marines came, as they were ready to set off to the island.
"Glad you guys made it in time." Tim said to one of the men.
"We came as soon as we heard about Mortem, sir." Said the soldier, saluting at him.
Tim nodded and looked over to Owen. "Half of my men will assist us in going on Sorna and the other half will be staying here on Nublar, monitoring the area if any more men of Mortem will come."
"Great, now all we need is our guide." Owen said as he looked at the makeshift safe house.
Owen, Tim, and Barry were walking over to the safe house where they saw Mike and Jay standing near the door. They were surprised to see the boys there because they were supposed to get ready to leave with them in search of Owen's niece.
"Why are you boys standing there?" Tim asked them.
"Well..." Mike was cut off when someone came crashing out of the room through the door before landing hard on the ground. The group were startled by this before they realized that it was an InGen soldier. Before they could recover, another InGen soldier came flying out of the room and landed on top of the first one, both groaning in pain from the sudden impact. The group peeked inside and saw Marco, in handcuffs, have Hoskins pinned on the table.
"The hell is goin' on here?!" Owen exclaimed in shock.
Marco was glaring at Hoskins. "This asshole here thinks he could try and beat me up for information, but he is proven wrong." He said angrily.
Tim glared at Hoskins. "Hoskins! We told you to stay out of this!" He ordered him.
"He has valuable information we need!" Hoskins yelled with a grunt as he struggled to break free from Marco's hold.
"Marco, let him go, we'll deal with him later after we talk to you, now!" Tim ordered, showing authority.
Giving Hoskins one last glare, Marco roughly let him go, allowing the head of security to be free. As Hoskins glared at him, Owen dragged him out of the room as he and the others would talk to Marco privately. Owen sighs as he looks back to Marco, who sat back down on the chair that had fallen and gave him a serious look.
"So, why did Mortem choose Isla Sorna as your rendezvous?" Owen asked Marco seriously.
Marco stared at him blankly before he remembered the deal they had. If he helps them get the little girl, they will help him save his daughter. Sighing, Marco gave a sharp nod and gave the answers they needed.
"The reason why Mortem chose Isla Sorna is because one of his experiments escaped from his facility and found its way there."
"What experiment?" Owen dared to ask.
"You think Masrani Global is a bioengineering and genetic oriented company?" Marco spoke in a serious tone. "There's more out there, searching for ways to clone their own beats. But Mortem's company, Serpenti Neri, can clone and hybridize animals, dinosaurs, and humans. Weaponizing them to be officiant killers."
"Oh, my God..." Owen mutters in shock. "Where is he now?"
"All I know is, he's coming to Isla Sorna to collect your niece, but he will have backup." Marco explained to them.
