The sun hit my face and I opened my eyes groaning at the pain the brightness was causing me. I rolled over and landed on the floor with a thud, hitting my knee on the coffee table centered in front of the couch in my living room. I stood up and put the book I was reading the night before on its assigned shelf in my fathers study. I picked the cover up and arranged the cushions so it looked like no one had slept there. I crept out of the study and walked up to my room hoping that everyone was still asleep and that I would get ready before they all woke. I took a shower and checked the time, cursing. I dressed in the stupid uniform my dumb school required me to wear and made sure that I looked flawless. My parents were well off and decided that it would be better for my brother and I to go to some snooty boarding school, but I never complained. I knew that they wanted what was best for us and that was nothing new to me. They had always made sure we had the best over the years and we never went without, in fact we had more than we ever needed or as I though more than we deserved. I made my way to the kitchen and gave my father a kiss on the cheek and ruffled my older brothers hair.
"So how is everyone on this very fine morning?" Jack fixed his hair and grumbled and my mother gave me her pearly white smile.
"We are doing just fine, how is your morning?" Jack gave a bitter laugh and stood.
"We all just woke up! Everyone's morning hasn't even happened yet!" My father dropped his paper and gave Jack a glare but I smiled.
"Someone isn't a morning person." My father chuckled and Jack gave me a 'haha' look.
"Yeah well, someone won't have a ride to school if they keep talking and don't get in the car." My smile dropped and I stood saluting him.
"Sir yes sir!" Mom and dad laughed and I told them both goodbye, grabbing my bag and making my way to Jack's car.
"So Lucy, why are you so excited for school today? It wouldn't have to do with a certain upperclassmen hitting on you Saturday at mom's charity event would it? Because I do not approve of that."He said with a stern look as we drove out of the driveway and made our way to the school. Jack was protective but he still let me have a life. I knew exactly who he was talking about and I smiled at my hands in my lap.
"Well Jack, it might. But listen, Tom is a really good guy and I like him a lot, please don't ruin it for me! Please just give it a chance, I swear if he screws up once then I promise I'll leave it alone."
Jacks hands tightened on the wheel and I saw his jaw tense. "One screw up and I kick his ass? I can deal with that." I squealed and clapped my hands.
"Thank you so much, Jack!" He shook his head and pulled into his parking spot at school. I walked beside Jack up to the front steps and a smile was plastered on my face as I saw Tom and his friends standing by the door. Tom gave me a smile and left his friends walking straight for me and grabbing my hand, placing a small kiss on it.
"Hello beautiful, how is your morning?" I giggled and Jack rolled his eyes walking off. "It was very lovely, and yours?" He used his hold on my hand to pull me closer and throw his arm around my shoulder. "Much better now that your here." He kissed my cheek and he started to walk me to my first class.
"So Luci, how does a party sound? This Saturday my place?" He asked as we stopped in front of my classroom. I gave him a smile and a nod,
"I would love that! But I don't want you to be late for class." I said as the bell gave off a warning ring.
"I'll be okay. May I persuade the lady for a kiss?" I giggled and gave him a nod, popping up on my toes to kiss his cheek.
"Good bye, Tom. See you after class?" He gave me a pout.
"Yeah yeah, but you owe me a kiss." I smiled and walked into class, today is good
Hello there lovely readers of wattpad!
I know that this wasn't very long or edited and wasn't too good but there's a reason. I wasn't planning on posting this until I was half way done with writing because I have such a sporratic schedule and you would all hate my guts half way in but I felt like I just had to put something out there. This will be my first published story and I would like it if you guys could keep that in mind :) Maybe this will be a great hit and maybe not, but if you take the time to read and you can be patient with me I will love you forever :) So feedback is nice and now I am just rambling because I don't know what else to say.... Oh I know! Um I have Taylor Momsen as part of the cast cause my story was inspired by her, my point is right now Luci is the before Taylor like Jenny Humphrey Gossip girl season 1 Taylor. So I thought I would throw that out there.
