CHAPTER 5

Margo's POV

Did he really just tell me I was good? Omg he's pulling me backstage, this basically is my dream coming true I can't believe it. His voice interrupts my thoughts "Hey you wanna stay here for Austin his show too or just go drink something?" (Just imagine they are both 18yo) "let's go drink something, I know a good place here", I reply. I come here often since some of my friends are studying here, I know this good pub. "So I'd say let's take my car, but my friend has my keys", I say slightly laughing. "That's fine I have one here too, you just show me the way". He turns on the radio and plays some all time low, can he become any more perfect? "I love all time low" I say trying to get a conversation starting. "Me too, they are awesome! Do you know 5sos?" "Yeah ofc I do, they are one of my fave bands" "I met them at some award show, afterwards we were hanging out and they put on all time low. Since they I've been in love with their music, it's not okay" he chuckles. "You've met 5SOS????" I start freaking out, he's friends with my favourite band I can't handle this. "Yeah they're cool dudes and that accent is so amazing. Maybe I can help you to meet up with them" he laughs. "You'd do that for me? We just met" "I know you're not like the rest, who takes advantage of my fame" "well... Thanks, I guess? But no, I'd never do that, take a left turn here btw, there it is" "looks like fun, do you come here often?" "This is like the hang out place for university students here and since I have some friends here that study here I got to know this place" I smile at him.
"You drink beer or want something stronger?" I ask Shawn "let's start off with a beer so we can talk bit and maybe we can do some shots later and go to a club nearby or something?" "Yeah sounds great, twee biertjes alsjeblieft" (dutch for 2 beers please since we're in Belgium lol) "dat is dan 5 euro" (that'll be 5 euros) I pay the barman and head to an empty table with Shawn. Shawn breaks the ice "so Margo, tell me something about yourself" while taking a sip from his beer "so I have a sister, I live in Belgium not too far from here. I study medicine in Antwerp where I have a little apartment that I share with my two best friends and beside studying I run, eat, drink and go out. Plus I enjoy reading and listening to music too. I try to play the guitar and all but I'm not that great" I laugh whilst saying the last part "maybe I could teach you a bit, if you would like to?" "I'd love to, Shawn" with that being said, Shawn's phone starts ringing.
