Chapter 1

Jay

"Dear passengers,please fasten your seatbelts. We will be soon landing on Seoul, South Korea."

I straightened my posture after the announcement and looked at my secretary who's accompanying me here. He had already have his seatbelt fastened.

I took a deep breath without me barely noticing it. Long time huh?

I was already tired enough from this long af journey,i hope my dad has already managed someone to escort us from the incheon airport.

When i stepped out of the plane and breathed the air in-

It actually felt kinda nostalgic. I don't know how much this country or people here have changed in these past 5 years.

I made a phonecall as soon we passed the immigration.

"Dad? I'm here."

"Oh finally Jay. It's been a long since you stepped your feet on this country." My dad slightly laughed.

A chuckle slipped passed my lips, it indeed is.

"So dad did u send someone already?"

"Yes,but our car got some issues halfway through so I'm afraid you might have to wait for a bit."

"Ah i see," i sighed knowing my tired body has to sit here instead of lying down on my soft mattress with the AC on.

I hung the call shortly after that seeing my secretary approaching me.

"Mr. Park, i just got a text from the driver which says they are late for some technical issues."

"Hmm i know already. Can u like bring something to drink? I feel extremely tired." I said massaging my nape.

"Sure sir. You should find a place to sit for now. I will be right there." He said before making his way towards the cafeteria thingy.

I found myself a sit away from the crowd.

Why is there so many people boarding today ugh?

The noise is making me sick. I took a magazine that was lying by my side to engage myself with something,plugged my airpod to cancel the noise.

I felt someone sitting beside me which made me shift my position a bit away from them. Did i grow so antisocial or something in these years?

Shortly after they walked away and i kinda sighed in relief.

Now i can focus on the magazine peacefully.

I adjusted my mask and glasses. Ugh i hate wearing these two things together when the mask keeps blurring my glasses.

I looked around to spot my secretary but he was thankfully no where to be seen.

I suddenly noticed a bunch of people huddled together around something,not to mention they were literally pushing each other violently and screaming their lungs out.

What's the deal with them? Must be some celebrity getting mobbed.

"How lucky i am to find a sit here at the furthest corner. So peaceful"

After a while the guards were successful to take those people away cause i no longer hear the intense screaming.

I plugged my airpods out as i felt a slight headache.

"Ugh I'm so dead. The cons of being an international celebrity" i heard someone mutter under their breath,slightly breathless as they made their way to sit on the chair across me.

am i sitting in front of a celebrity? God please make the fans blind,i don't wanna be mobbed along with them.

I looked up from the magazine to take a glance at whoever they are,but they too are reading a magazine and ofcourse have mask on.

Shortly after that i think my secretary found me and brought me coffee.

"Mr. Park? Here's your cof-
Your boarding pass"

Two people just said in unison causing me to look up in confusion. Boarding pass? But i just landed.

I found the other boy infront of me also staring at his companion and then looked at me.

The time seemed to stop right there when i saw those eyes,those pair of very familiar eyes.

We both held the eye contact,dare not to break it as we slowly stood up in instinct.

He proceeded to remove his mask,though it was really not needed but i did the same.

And then at that moment,i stood infront the person that i least want to see,

There stood a stranger that i once knew

There stood my ex boyfriend, Park Sunghoon.
