⚠️ Beware smut warning near the end ⚠️Sometimes life hurt like hell.
Like the sun would never shine, nor would the flowers bloom again.
It felt like you were stuck within a whirlwind, having lost your way, even though in the end you always found a path.
But now, sitting on the floor with your back against your bed and knees pulled to your chest, it felt like the gloomy clouds would never go away.
Like the pain would never leave.
You had lost your way once again, although you would consider this much worse than what you had experienced before. Worse than the betrayal of your bestest friend, or even your near breakup with your boyfriend during your first year of university.
They were nothing compared to what your relationship was going through now.
You sniffled for the nth time, trying to wipe away your streaming tears.
Yes, you had been experiencing the same feelings for a while now, thinking of a new life without Jungkook in the picture, but actually spitting it out and watching the heartbreak spread across his face was another level.
You had thought about it, but inside, you didn't want to let it all go.
So much had been lived, so many memories made. It was as if you were both made for each other, and would never be apart.
But the reality of the situation was breaking through no matter how much you both wanted to deny it.
We no longer belong together anymore
Your own words echoed at the back of your mind.
You knew it was bad when your own words hurt and broke your heart.
Letting out a sigh and making another attempt to wipe your tears, you looked at the box that lay open next to you, a pile of photos filling it to the brim.
You picked up the picture sitting at the top of the pile, a sad smile spreading across your lips as that day came flashing back.

"Y/N!"
Your head had snapped up at the loud call of your name from where you sat at one of the library tables alone, watching your friend Jimin come jogging up to you.
From the expression written along his features, you could tell the news wasn't good.
"What's wrong?" You ask worriedly as he comes to a stop next to you, breathing hard as if he had run a mile.
"Jungkook—we were practicing, and then he had the ball, and then—"
You stood up from your spot.
"What happened to him?"
Jimin gulped, his eyes avoiding yours for a moment.
"We think he has a concussion,"
You didn't even bother to take your stuff, and were hurriedly making your way towards the library doors, Jimin jogging behind you to catch up.
You pushed open the doors and turned in the direction of the gym down the hall where your boyfriend had previously gone for his basketball practice. But nearing the doors, you didn't notice the shut lights inside, nor the fact that Jimin didn't follow you once you pushed the swinging doors and came to an immediate stop when faced with complete darkness.
