Day 1: Hey there, journal I've had for months but never used. Mom bought this for me on my birthday, but with a life as boring as mine, I don't really get a chance to use it. Well, today I've actually decided to write something down in my journal, and boy do I have something to write down. I found a tiny person in my backyard today. No, not a dwarf, an actual ant-sized person. I know that sounds a bit crazy, mostly because it is, but it's true.

So a couple hours ago, I woke up to the worst sound combination known to humanity: an alarm clock ringing right next to your ear, and my dog Herbert barking as loud as physically possible. Since it's impossible to go back to sleep, and because it was already 9 AM, I forced myself to crawl out of my man cave. Not just because I couldn't go back to sleep, but also because Herbert needed to go, ASAP. I took him out into the backyard, and the both of us stayed out there for a few minutes so he could get his business done before I fed him. Now, my Mom has a small little garden of vegetables out there in the backyard, and Herbert has a terrible habit of taking a couple nibbles out of there, and just like many days before, he tried to get a early snack. Shouting doesn't really work to get him to stop, so I had to run over and stop him before he took a bite out of a tomato stem.

That's when I saw... it? Him? Them? I dunno what to call them, but they are a really, really small human,  sleeping right underneath the plants. I haven't measured them yet, but there's no way they are more then 3 inches tall. I think they look a little cute, in all honesty. They got little clothes, little shoes, a little brown cloak, and even a little tiny satchel! But, at that moment, they were super dirty, they probably haven't washed in a while. I mean, it must be really hard to when you're smaller than a crayon. Now, a normal person would think they're going crazy, and go on with their day, but I know I would've felt bad just leaving him here. So I picked him up as gently as humanly possible, and brought him inside.

That brings us to now, I'm back in my room, and there's now a small human inside the smallest Tupperware box I could find. They haven't woken up yet, somehow, but when they do, I hope he doesn't freak out.
