"and that is three points to korea!! kim taehyung's third shot today!!" the commentator's voice echoed through the loudspeakers.

it was the finals of the basketball tournament; a very important match for taehyung, because only if he wins this, he can play for the international championship.

"GO TAEHYUNGIE!!" someone's voice stood out in the crowd. the male had a banner in his hand, and he cheered loudly.

but all the cheers suddenly dropped when taehyung fell on the court. all the fellow players gathered around to see that their teammate had fainted.

quickly bringing him to the hospital, the match continued with a reserve. he was accompanied by that one male who cheered for him; his boyfriend.

taehyung's parents were also called by to the hospital when the doctors saw that the older male wasn't waking up; he was still breathing.

"jungkookie," taehyung's parents called out to their son's boyfriend, who had his head buried in his palms, tears unstoppable.

"what happened baby?" they asked, only for the boy to sob harder. slowly jungkook gathered his breath, and said through the tears,

"about half an hour ago..."

"what is the matter doctor?" jungkook asked, highly concerned that his boyfriend was not waking up.

"mr kim, he, he has a tumour in his brain," the doctor started, to which the younger male panicked.

"it's not too late, i-is it?" jungkook asked, tears brimming in his eyes. his whole world crashed down with the doctor's next words.

"sorry to say, but, it's in the last stage. a surgery is not possible anymore, and, uh- he has only about a year more to live." the doctor finished, his heart breaking at the sight of the male sitting in front of him.

"oh- is there nothing we c-can do doctor? p-please? any-anything?" he sobbed as he pleaded. he couldn't lose his taehyungie to a disease.

"i'm really sorry, but there's nothing we can do other than give him the best life of what's left." jungkook nodded at the words, unable to bring out words at the moment.

"there's nothing we can-can do- i- i can't lo-lose him," jungkook cried, taehyung's parents left in tears too.

"let's- let's not tell about this to tae right now, we- we'll tell him la-later," taehyung's father said, stuttering on his words.

days passed by, and taehyung still did not know about the lump in his brain, that has caused him to die so soon.

he reacts badly when he's told that he can't play basketball anymore, he yells and screams, throws a whole tantrum. but who can blame him? he's unaware of the reason.

jungkook was now living with taehyung, finding it easier to be with the older while it lasts. he never thought he'd lose his boyfriend to something like this.

he felt angry, angry because he couldn't have a happily ever after with his love. angry because they could never do things for the long run.

but one thing's for sure, the younger male never loved taehyung more. now that he was aware of the fact that he'd lose him soon, his love for the older only grew.

days and weeks soon turned into months, and the news of taehyung's disease is stuck in the back of jungkook's head. it didn't bother him much now, he wanted to make the rest of the older's life memorable.
