Hi! This is my attempt of fluff and I hope it delivers.
Also, the character might be OOC here, I just wing it where I want to.

This is a gift for @spookicooky on twitter, she's the one who supports me to write for this fandom so I am very thankful! Happy (belated) birthday and I hope you like a little cute VegasPete! <3

Vegas entered the first family mansion that night with mixed feelings - excited because he's got to see Pete after a few days, but also afraid of Pete's reaction once he sees the condition he was in.

The major family house was quiet, that only means Venice was asleep. Thankun, who usually was the one making all the noises, became the police to make sure nobody makes noise and wake his now 'beloved' nephew.

The changes that Venice brought in the Theerapanyakun family was weird and kinda abrupt, to be real honest. Vegas never even thought that Thankun would make peace with him and Macau just so he has access to the baby. Now one of the rooms in the major family house was magically turned into a baby playroom full of toys, even though Venice hasn't even been able to do anything much besides crying and sleeping.

Vegas knew Pete trusted Venice under Thankun's supervision (while Thankun was under Arm and Pol's supervision), especially while he helped Porsche take care of some business documents. Both Vegas and Kinn were travelling to different provinces, trying to close different business deals. They were actually scheduled to be back after about five days - but that day (the third day), Vegas had ordered Nop to tell Pete that he had returned.

Vegas entered the dining room with a slow and steady walk, his dark grey suit jacket draped on his shoulders - hiding his arms. He found Pete and Porsche sitting on the dining table, probably waiting for the food to be served. They have been working on sorting business documents including contracts and taxes, and Vegas was also glad that at least Pete was doing it with Porsche so he's got company.

Once his eyes made contact with Pete's, the man immediately came running towards Vegas - making him want to laugh a little.

So this was what it felt, Vegas thought, to have someone to come back to, after a rough and tiring day.

"You're home early!"

Pete didn't even wait until Vegas said anything before he literally jumped and hugged the life out of him. Vegas held his breath when his left hand squeezed between their bodies, pain began to shoot up and spread through his entire arm. He might have let out a not so quiet pained yelp that caused Pete to immediately release the hug.

"What's wrong?" he asked then, keeping both his hands on Vegas's upper arms while inspecting Vegas' body. Without Vegas could even speak any words, Pete's movement was halted as he set Vegas' suit jacket aside and uncovered an injured hand that was put into a splint.

Vegas watched as Pete's expression changed drastically from excited, to curious, to worried... and now Pete's glassy eyes reflected this indescribable disappointment as he was stunned looking at the splint.

"What is this?" Pete said in a low voice—and Vegas swore this kind of tone marked the beginning of Pete's anger - Vegas knew for sure.

Vegas decided to just make a little joke to lighten the mood, so he said, "It's... a splint. Hehe."

Yes, he probably shouldn't have added the awkward giggle at the end.

"You think I don't know that?" Oh man, there it was... the anger.
