Out Of This World

Chapter 3

Thomas wakes up to his dad singing in the shower, his 2 brothers and his mum are still sleeping, he keeps thinking about his test and what its going to be like, he wishes Jorge had said more about it, his dad comes out the shower with his towel wrapped around him,
"Ahh Thomas you gave me a heart attack!"
"Sorry dad, excited about the test?"
"No, how am I supposed to be? Huh, I mean its a freaking test Thomas, at secondary school I was scared of an english essay for Pete's sake!"
"I'm going in the shower now,"
"Okay, I will wake up your mother and your brothers,"
"Good Luck!"
Thomas went into the small, claustrophobic bathroom and had his shower.
After Thomas' shower he went to get his clothes from his wardrobe, although he realised his dad was gone and his mother and brothers were still sleeping. He knew something was up..
He slipped his clothes on and woke up his brothers and his mother,
"Mum, where is dad?"
"He woke us up this morning and told us he was going out for a walk about,"
"I'm going down to start the test I see you later!"
Thomas went downstairs and into the dining room he was in yesterday, when he walked in he saw his dad and Jorge talking, Jorge walked over to Thomas,
"Hi Thomas, for the tests you will be in a room with only some gravity, your partner is Stephen from the Cornwall family, your test will begin at 12:30, so get ready and be prepared, because in the room you will be given all sorts of stuff to put up with,"
Man he talks a lot, Thomas thought.
