Chapter 12

Abhinavi went to cafeteria and sat on a table. Abhi ordered coffee for both and some snacks.

Abhi: So how is everything going? I mean buisness and all

Vaish: Well fine by my parents' blessings and of course God's grace

Abhi: And not to forget your dedication, passion, hard work and efforts

Vaish: Well yee

Abhi: You should take the credits of your work

Vaish: It's not like that. I appreciate myself

Abhi: So what happened yesterday? I mean as far as I know you are too particular of your work. So what happened yesterday? Nothing to offend you, just out of curiousness if you are okk in telling

Vaish: Well I actually sent my brother because no one else was available

Abhi: Oh

Vaish: He went somewhere else. I am again sorry

Abhi: How many times are you gonna say sorry? And I thought there is no sorry in friends

Vaish: And when we became friends?

She asked fighting back a smile.

Abhi: Well I thought so. I mean we are working together and here we are having coffee

Vaish: But coffee to I have drunk with most of my colleagues and even had lunch or dinner. So all are my friends hmm?

Abhi sighed.

Abhi: Okk. So I really like you. I mean as a person. You are really a great person whom I really admire. You are actually an inspiration to many including me. At such a small age, you set up such a successful empire. I always heard about you but the time I met, I actually felt blessed to have met a personality like you. Your ideals, your work, everything about you really motivates me. I mean hats off to you. And I would love to be friend with you. Of course if you are okk

Vaish was smiling listening to him.

Vaish: That actually means a lot to me Abhishek. I didn't know you think like that about me. I mean being someone's inspiration is like a very big thing and you actually made my day. I can't thank you enough for that. And honestly speaking your dedication, hard work is no less. And yes I would love to be your friend Abhishek

Abhi: Well my friends call me Abhi. So you also can

Vaish: Sure. You can also call me Vaish or Vaishu

They were having their coffee with a bit of chit chatting. When Vaish's phone rang. It was someone from office. She picked it up. In one hand she had phone, in another her coffee. Her hair were disturbing her and she was having difficulty in keeping them aside as her hands were not free. Abhi noticed and moved forward and took her hair and put them behind her ear. Both had an eyelock. For a moment, they forgot everything and got lost in each other's eyes. But their moment was broken by person on Vaish's phone. Abhi quickly moved back and Vaish looke down.

: Hii. Hello. Ma'am you there

Vaish: Uh yee. I am

She hanged up the call in few minutes.

Vaish: There is some work at office. So I should leave

Abhi: So early?

He whispered.

Vaish: Excuse me?

Abhi: I mean come I will see you off

Vaish: Arre it's okk I will go. Why you taking so much pain?

Abhi: Arre it's fine. There is no pain in it. Come

They moved outside. Vaish bid him bye and drove to her office. She looked Sid's seat was still empty. It was 11, he used to come after 12.

Vaish: Kab samjhega ye ladka? Kya karoo iska?

She let it be for now because she had some important work to do. Sid came on his usual times and spent him time somehow.

2 weeks passed

Sid's behavior was same. Avu used to ask him to tell him to start working. Media saw Abhinavi together that day and started their so called rumors. Shiv used to ask Vaish about Sid's work everyday and she somehow used to make excuses but of course he is her father, he clearly used to understand.

Today Vaish had told Sid to give presentation in a meeting. Vaish was going to meeting room when she saw his phone ringing. He had gone to washroom. It was Avu's phone. She was thinking to pick up or not. It rang two three times so she picked up finally. Before she could say anything, Avu started shouting.

Avu: Sid tu koi dang ka job karega ya nhi. I want a final answer. Either start working or leave me. Mein tujhe roz bolti hu dad mere lie ladke dekh rahe hai. Aaj bhi do ladko ka biodata de gaye mujhe. I am done with you. Mujhe tumhe roz roz nhi samjhaya jata

Vaish: Hii Avneet. Actually it's me Vaishnavi

Avu: Oh. I am so sorry

She said nervously and immediately cut the call before Vaish could speak. Vaish sighed and went to meeting room. All were waiting for Sid to come. Vaish asked a peon to go call him when he didn't come. Peon came and called her outside.
