hello there my dear cuties! i am sorry for the huge procrastination on my books and such, i've been really focused on my school assignments and well i hope this first act will leave you pleased?

i also would like to mention there will be MANGA SPOILERS so if you're an anime only watcher please leave if you do not want to be spoiled!

𝐀 group of friends were hanging out in a café as they scrolled through their phones, Tokino Akane sighed as she glanced up at the sky. Her best friend, Etsuko Yui had taken notice of Akane's behavior placing a hand on Akane's shoulder with worried eyes and asked,

❝ Is everything alright? You've been sighing for about twenty minutes already. ❞

Akane gave Yui a tired smile as the ombrenette laughed to herself for a bit before responding,

❝ It's just... Hanae still hasn't been found and it's already been a month since her disappearance and her sister isn't holding up about the news still. ❞

Yui glanced down at the table, the ravenette understood what Akane was talking about. Kanroji Hanae was a junior at Kimetsu Academy and their senpai, she was extremely nice to them and toured them around the school when they had first arrived and transferred.

On the night of April 11th, Hanae was last seen helping Kibutsuji Muzan with carrying paperworks and he had been convicted as being the culprit of her disappearance but even he didn't know where she had went. It was confusing to everyone who knew the girl, her disappearance had came out of nowhere and there were people who didn't take it lightly. Tokito Muichiro, was a boy that Hanae often hung out with and gushed over. She often ranted to her friends about how cute he was with his dazed look in his eyes, how soft and fluffy his hair was whenever she ran her fingers through his ebony locks, and there was a lot more she went on about. 

Hanae was a daughter out of five other children and the second oldest next to Mitsuri ( hahahda is Mitsuri the oldest out of her five siblings?) and her family wasn't taking it lightly especially her sister who she established a strong relationship with. Mitsuri barely came to school because of her sister's disappearance and whenever she did she barely paid attention to her classes and only talked when needed to. Ishirama Senju, a close friend of Hanae could often be seen making flower crowns in the spot she and Hanae always hung out. 

Nobody knew where the girl went but it would be no surprise when her little friends would soon find her.

𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐄 sighed as she easily slained another demon, she was on a joint mission with the Insect Hashira, Kocho Shinobu. The two of them had split apart and the young Kanroji was patrolling the left side of the Hokkaido forest, she hadn't expected there to be packs of demons. She was told that demons don't often group together and work together because they'd kill and eat each other but she knew that demons had a probability of working together. She wasn't surprised to see hundreds of demons but she was pissed at them for underestimating her, had her appearance really made her weak? 

Nonetheless, she was finished with her side and started to head back to where Shinobu was and found her killing the last demon with poison. Shinobu turned around and kept her smile as she taunted the demon before she noticed Hanae and waved at her, 

❝ Hanae~chan, there you are. I assume you're finished with your side? ❞

❝ Indeed I am, Kocho~san. ❞

❝ Oh my, no need to be so formal Shinobu is just fine. ❞

❝ Eh, okay. ❞

Shinobu and Hanae then started to walk back to the headquarters to report their mission as Hanae drifted off to her thoughts, it was funny to her how she ended up getting here. 

ˏˋ 🌳 °•*⁀➷ ❝ Entering Flashback... ❞ ✧ ೃ༄

𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐄 stretched her limbs as she slowly climbed onto her comfortable bed and collapsed her head against the pillow, she had just gotten home before her parents and sister did and it was only a quarter before seven. She was surprisingly tired as she let her eyelids slowly shut themselves letting herself fall deeper into sleep. 

Her surprise was feeling something brush against her cheek as she slowly woke up and in the corner of her eye was a crow sitting there patiently. She immediately sat up as her eyes widened and her breathing was unstable as she stared at the crow that she had no memory recalling she had a pet crow. Only did she realize she wasn't in her bedroom, where in the hell was she? This wasn't her room as the crow only cawed getting closer to their owner. 

❝ Caw, are you alright Kanroji~sama? ❞ 

Hanae stared at the crow only did she stutter out a response, 

❝ Y-Yeah, where am I and who are you? ❞

The crow only blinked at her, did she lose her memories? Did her last mission cause her to hit her head that hard? Whatever it was, the crow was determined to help his owner. 

❝ You're in the Kumo Estate, your estate to be exact and I'm your kasugai crow, Tamao. ❞

❝ K-Kumo Estate? This is MY Estate? ❞

Hanae was so confused as Tamao nodded before he started to speak, 

❝ Yes, this is your estate because you're one of the hashiras in this organization and because you're the cloud pillar your estate is named after your breathing. ❞

Tamao blankly stared at his slayer, he came to the conclusion that a hazardous demon had attacked his precious slayer and caused her to lose her memories somewhat. He cawed, 

❝ Don't worry Kanroji~san, I will go get help for you. ❞

Then Tamao started to fly away before Hanae could stop him as she sweatdropped, the little bird had thought she had lost her memories. She sighed to herself, she guessed she had to pretend she lost her memories.

ˏˋ 🌳 °•*⁀➷ ❝ Exiting Flashback... ❞ ✧ ೃ༄

 ❝ 𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐇𝐈 𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐇𝐈! ❞ 

Hanae immediately blinked hearing someone say hello to her, she turned to her left as she looked at Shinobu who practically stared at her with the same smile she always kept. The short female noticed she had finally gotten her kouhai's attention and clapped her hands in glee, 

❝ Finally, I've been calling for your name for the past few minutes. We just arrived at the headquarters. ❞

Hanae blushed out of embarrassment as she bowed and uttered out an apology for spacing out, Shinobu chuckled as she gave Hanae a headpat before saying, 

❝ No need to apologize, now we need to report our mission to Oyakata~sama. ❞

❝ Understood. ❞

The two of them entered the house to report their mission.
