Because of the fireflies that kept him company during the nights, Goth had taken a big liking to little glowing orbs. The shin ran after them, trying to catch them- they were just like the fairies in the stories Mother told him. Giggling, he continues trying to get hold of them but each time they were in reach, they went off faster. The sound of static came. Blinking, the shin pauses and looks behind him. Someone was standing there. A bold grin. They spoke in static, their voice glitches worst than Mother. While Goth did not understand fully, he somehow knew what they wanted- they wanted Goth to continue on without them. Goth smiles and waves, he watches then waves back and the fairies suddenly surround this one.Goth understood what these were now; they were his-Goth wakes up and blinks at the fireflies above his crib. "*memories." Came a tiny little voice as Goth spoke his first word to the empty room, although, he quickly forgot what that word meant.
