He was agonizing over the unanswered messages on his phone. He was too scared to answer them, never mind read them. It had been weeks since he last saw him. How could he? He not only fell for the man again but left him again. Now all he could do was pace in his room, disappointed at himself.

Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!

Oaklee was losing his mind at the continuous buzzing of his phone. It seemed to be on the verge of exploding! Why was he so relentless? Finally, picking up his phone to see the unending stream of text messages. The screen lit up with a different name. The sender was Simon. Wait, Simon? Why was Simon texting him? That didn't make sense; he sat down on his bed, his full attention to the messages now. It mostly contained Simon complaining about the current attitude of his boss, wanting Oaklee to come 'fix' it. Oaklee simply rolled his eyes at the pleas of the other. He knew he was going to have to face it at some point. That point was tomorrow, as night had already fallen. Heaving a deep sigh, he got up to get ready for bed.

The sun had risen, announcing the next day, yesterday's tomorrow. Unfortunately for some, the sun shot its bright rays through the windows of the city. Though the sun had come to greet the citizens awake, Oaklee had long been awake. How could he obtain a great night's rest with the next day plaguing his mind? There were too many dooming endings to conjure with simply not enough time. Another thing to add to his list of misfortunes for the day, the coffee shop was soon to open. Though seeming like not much, with Simon's outrageous request, it was.

Stupid! Stupid Simon! Stupid fucking Simon!

How was he supposed to reconfess his feelings so early in the morning? As well as on his day off, now he has no excuse to leave! Had he committed a grave sin in his previous life to deserve this? Alas, he could only give another sigh before going off on this soon-to-be journey of a day.

As if his day couldn't start any worse, Simon was waiting at the coffee shop door. Now he couldn't procrastinate by pacing outside said door. While Oaklee was ready to walk around the block again, Simon had made eye contact with him. All he could do was heave a sigh, making his way over to Simon. A bright smile shone on the barista's face, "you came!" If only Oaklee could be that enthusiastic for this day. He rolled his eyes, nodding his head in reply. Simon rushed him inside, pointing, "he's in the back." Simon then shoved him towards the employee's only area. Oaklee turned around to protest but only got pushed closer to the door. Taking a deep breath, he made his way through the door. Inside was a small office with little furniture. Sitting at a desk with a laptop was none other than Lorenzo. Luckily for Oaklee, he had not been seen. With this bit of luck, Oaklee began to think of how to start the conversation. How was he supposed to do this without sounding awkward? Was that even possible? With each failing idea, his stare at Lorenzo only intensified. Lorenzo began to feel uncomfortable with the fierce gaze on him. He turned around to reprimand Simon, only to be surprised.

"Oaklee?" The name slipped before he could understand who was standing there. Oaklee flinched at being brought out of his thoughts. He slightly nodded as a response. After making eye contact for a seemingly long time, Lorenzo spoke again. "You came to see me?" his usual smile revisited his face. Oaklee still had not found his will to speak and only nodded. Lorenzo outstretched his hands for the other to take, finding his reluctance humorous. Oaklee then shuffled towards the chair, slowly reaching out his hands. Once he had gotten close enough, Lorenzo grabbed his hands and pulled him down. Of all possible outcomes Oaklee had conjured for today, this was not one of them. He hasn't even spoken to him yet! Why was he now sitting on his lap? Well, closer to his knees as he had tried to spare himself from too much embarrassment. He turned to face Lorenzo, shock never leaving his face. He moved his gaze between the other's eyes and his 'seat,' waiting for an answer. Lorenzo's smile brightened, "now you can't leave," he beamed. Dark lines covered Oaklee's face; had he walked into a trap?
