Chapter 1
My name is Melani Shae. I’m 15 years old. I live in Mullingar, Ireland. I’ve been living a nightmare, but the problem is, only few believe me and those who do, are going through the same thing. I can’t even try to explain how painful and scary this has all been. I hope that no one else in this world has to go through what I have. I thought that it would stop if I ignored it. I went about 4 months or so without witnessing it, then it came back.
In the year of 2008 I moved into a new house with my dad and brother. My dad moves a lot. My parents are divorced so I switch houses every other week.
This was the first house that he’d actually bought himself. It’s a nice, big white house. It was in town so I could easily walk to and from school if I wanted to.
I liked everything about this house. Until the one night that started it all.
It had to have been around 1AM on a friday night. I was sound asleep with my brother at the other end of my bed. He was 8 at the time. We were both dead asleep. I was dreaming. Or atleast I think I was. I saw a younger girl, she looked like she was about my age or so. She walked out of my closet with a big smile on her face. She was...glowing. I tried to move, but I couldn't. I tried to speak, but it felt as if my lips were zipped shut. She walked to the end of my bed and opened her mouth as if she was going to speak.
"It will all be ok." She said still smiling. She started to put her hand close to me. I still couldn't move. I tried and tried, but I was just stuck. She put her hand on my leg and all I could feel, was pain.
I woke up and instantly sat up screaming. I couldn’t stop screaming. I was in so much pain. I don’t even know where it came from. I had tears running down my cheeks. My dad came running into my room yelling at me to calm down and trying to get me to explain what happened. Words wouldn’t come out of my mouth. Finally, I stopped screaming and crying and told my dad that nothing had happened. He was confused.
“I just got a really bad pain in my leg. I don’t know where it came from. It doesn’t hurt anymore.” I tried to explain to my dad. He was still confused. He just walked out and pretended nothing happened. Little did I know,that was the start of something horrible.
This is all I have of chapter 1 so far! Comment what you think. Good and bad imput is needed!!
