CHAPTER 1 Guy In The Hood

The bell went and all the students headed for lunch, some to the cafeteria and most to a nice restaurant.

Ochard university is one of the biggest universities in New Vergan occupied by rich kids whose parents can afford the standards of the school, while those who made it here by struggle don't have much right except you do something big. at the beginning of a new session like this every one seems to be catching fun ; girls gossip in a circle, hooligans walk in cliques while sit on a shady glassy area to study. amidst everyone's chattering a guy passes by in a hood leaving every one silent and eyes following him. some whispered ;

' I heard he's new around here'

' yeah me too. looks a freak' said another.

'they he was in a rehab' added another.

He pretended he didn't hear anything and kept moving. with his black hood jacket and a face covering about half of his face, no one could see his face.

Adrian walked to his residing hall and through stair cases he found himself in his room. The half Spanish half American 23years old boy pulled out his put off his hood letting his dark hair drop down the side of his face. He got into his bathroom, pulled out his jacket and just starred at himself in the mirror. he pushed aside his hair from his face thereby revealing a scar which began from the right side of his left eyes to his cheek. Suddenly he punched the wall.

' I know you're here' he said. Then a sudden wind blew past him.

' I hunger' it said in a whispering voice.

Breathing out with his eyes closed he said;

'you'll have it before midnight' and then it vanished.

Adrian moved towards the window in his room and opened the shutters just to have a sight of the campus. Looking around he sighted a young girl with a blue gown studying. She seemed confused. She soon stopped looking at her book and got lost in the beauty of the natural environment, it didn't get to a minute when their met. Immediately Adrian moved his face away. The girl got scared and left. Adrian, now peeping watched her leave. when she was out of sight he closed the window and looking at his wrist watch he knew what would soon take place. turning off the lights he knelt down.

Few minutes later, lots of students gathered by the corridor and a security man came knocking on the door.

' what's going on there. open up' ! but there was no answer.

' I'm coming in' . he was about to break down the door, then suddenly it flung open and Adrian came out .

' Can I help you' he asked in a low voice.

' there's a lot of noise coming from here and I don't know what you're up to but I have to check it out' .

Adrian stood still not moving out of the way.

' mind if I check it out' asked the security man harshly this time around.

' sure' Adrian said indecisively. He looked deeply into the man's eyes, the man became confused and shaking his head he said;

' it's ok' and then he left.

'Is that all' a student asked confused at what just happened.

the whole corridor became noisy and crowded as people headed to their rooms.

' Why would they let an animal where humans lives' one said.

Adrian locked his room and breathing out as he sat on a chair, removed his shirt and began cleaning injuries on his body with a piece of cotton.
