Scarlett is coming today and Y/n excited!
they've never met before, but they've FaceTimed and they watch each other's movies. Scarlett has this amazing smile and just seems like a great person according to Y/n.
she is also really nervous. What if Scarlett doesn't like her? even after they've talked? What if she thinks Y/n is fat? Crap. Anxiety.
"I'm sure it'll be fine" Y/n tells herself.
She get out of the shower, trying to leave her anxious thoughts behind. She wraps her hair up and cover herself with another towel. Then she brushes her teeths, heading to her closet and drawers, she looks around and decide on an outfit: black jeans, a black Thrasher hoodie, and black and white checkered Vans.
"I'm very original with my outfits, clearly." Y/n is talking to herself again. She unwraps her hair, dry it for a few minutes with her blow dryer, and then brush through it.
Her skin doesn't look bad today, so she don't put any makeup on. She paints her nails a fresh coat of black as she waits for Scarlett.
"Gosh, I'm so nervous." she taps her foot while she waits for her nails to dry. She puts the polish away and pace around her small house some more.
Knock knock, she hears from the door as a new text pops up on her phone.
Scarlett🤪 Hey I'm here
Y/n quickly makes her way to the door. She opens it, knowing who it is.
"Y/n!" Scarlett says happily while smiling. She lets go of her suitcase handle and pulls Y/n into a hug. Y/n laughs and hug Scarlett back.
"Scarlett! I'm so glad you're here!" they hug for a solid minute, all smiles.
"I'm glad to be here. House looks nice," Scarlett says, looking around from the doorway. Y/n opens the door, and Scar steps inside.
"Thanks. How was your flight?" Y/n ask, locking the door behind Scarlett.
"Pretty good. Plane landed early." Scar looks around some more, still smiling.
"So, what do ya wanna do first?" Y/n ask, pushing herself up to sit on the counter.
Scarlett leans against the table.
"You wanna go get some food? I'm starving."
"Oh-uh, sure. There's this cafe not to far from here, if you want to try that. Sandwiches and stuff."
"Now that sounds good."
They make their way to Y/n's car and drive to the small cafe. It's not too busy and only 10 or so minutes away.
Scarlett orders her food, and Y/n get a tea.
"Only a drink?" Scarlett raises an eyebrow.
"Oh, I ate not too long ago." Y/n shrug as they sit at a table. In reality, she hadn't ate for a few days, she had only been drinking water or juice on occasion.
