The moment Midori walked off the property of the Cullens home, now hers, to hunt for the first time with them, she felt so different, and the funny part is that she knew she was different, granted she was now part of the undead, a vampire, a version completely different from what she has ever known of them. For starters, they did not turn into bats to fly, they didn't burn in the sun, they didn't eat at all, so garlic doesn't really effect them. Midori always wondered why the vampires didn't wreck havoc on humans if they virtually had no weakness and had strength that out rivaled even the strongest of humans.

Midori felt different in the way, of feeling like she found something that she never felt anywhere else but with her family, home, especially near Rosalie, and that was what confused her, as far as she knew she never felt such a way towards women, granted the majority of the women she was around was taken already or older, and seeing as it was the 1930s, lesbian courtships were not allowed but nevertheless, she felt this way and she knew she couldn't focus on these feelings as she was faced with so many more feelings, like the desperation for blood, the need to kill was strong, it seemed to her the pain she felt the moment before she was saved by Rosalie, by the hand of those monsters, seeped a multitude of vengeance in this life.

For once she wasn't ashamed of it, she was proud of it. She was tired of being mistreated for the hue of her skin and her sex. She knew of course that she had to lay low, not bring attention to herself, stay indoors, practice the diet that was handed to her by her saviors.

"Midori?" She heard Rosalie call out her name and Midori blinked and focused on the task on hand. "Yes, Miss. Rosalie?" She responded as she walked over to her side. Rosalie offered a smile as she took her hand. Rosalie started to run and Midori followed closed behind, finally realizing how vampires get around without the need of being a bat and she honestly thought this was more helpful and useful than a bat transformation, she saw how beautiful her natural kink curls looked while running.

Rosalie smiled, observing the beauty that is her mate, Midori. She knew Midori was hers from the moment she set her eyes on Midori as she hunched up on the ground, and the way she instantly grabbed her after she killed the men that touched and saved her. It was no secret how much she hated being a vampire, never growing, never changing, never being able to have children and yet here she is putting another women through the same fate because she simply didn't want her to die and she knew from that moment that she was the one for her.

Rosalie has always been confused on her sexuality, she was never really attracted to men, more so attracted to what they could do for her and she never questioned it. She was beautiful and had a figure that always got her what she thought she wanted, even after having her first time stolen, she grew even more disgusted by men. She knew of gentle men, courtesy of her new found family, but in general, she didn't trust men, always had her trust guarded, but she never thought that would influence anything but she knew that wasn't the main reason why she was attracted to Midori.

Just the night before she had went to a show where she performing and seeing her beautiful voice was like a siren to her, it was loud and potent and it called out to her. Tied into the fact that now Rosalie could see her in all her natural nonconforming beauty she was even more amazed and fell deeper.

She was glad the mate bond chose someone that complimented her so well, that had so much dimension to them. Even now as they ran across the forst in hunt for some food, she was still mainly focusing on her.

Midori looked back at her and smiled and Rosalie returned it.
