The once soft blue sky was scorching red as the shining sun slowly fell asleep as it illuminated across the tides that were creeping towards the shore.

Beneath the afterglow, shuffling steps that scuff the streets' concrete pavement was a girl in her school uniform with braided maroon hair, known to us as the sassy Chloe Cerise.

Carrying a bag of hefty books, she was returning home after a stressful day at school and tuition, looking tired and ultimately lifeless.

The heavy books weren't the only weight she was carrying.
Chloe was depressed. For a lot of reasons. Homework, classmates and just about anything in life.

Everyone thought she was fine, that she had an easy and prosperous life, with her dad being a well-known professor.
However, she just isn't okay under her mask and a simple "How are you?" Or "Are you okay?" is just a luxury she could only dream of.

She was lost, drowning in the ocean of life, struggling to find what she truly desired, with aimless wings that couldn't fly, scared to disappoint her family and friends. Finally, loneliness. She felt like she was alone in all of this and no one could help her as she submerges deeper.

She walked and walked until she realized that she arrived at the Cerise Research Laboratory, where her family lives.

Entered her father's research lab to only see it vacant of people, before remembering that her family had already left to visit her grandparents. Sighing, she went to take a shower to clear her mind.

The warm water runs freely and it hugs her pale white skin gently like a blanket, running down every inch of her body, allowing her to escape from reality for now.

After showering, Chloe looked into the fogged up mirror, before drawing a sad face on it with her finger, as if she was trying to tell the mirror how she feels and hoping for words of comfort.

She smiled and just erased it, just like how people rub off how she feels. She had a frown on her beautiful face before putting on her smiling mask again.

Leaving the bathroom, she set foot into the kitchen. She was neither hungry nor knew what she wanted to eat, but she didn't know what to do, and they always ate dinner around this time.

Opening the fridge, it was packed with food but she simply picked a ready to eat microwave food and went to prepare it.

...

*Beep! Beep! Beep!*

She ate her microwaved dinner in silence, hearing but not listening to the television playing all while she swallowed each bite of food.
Afterwards, she went upstairs to her room and did one thing that all schools love to give students, homework.

...

Eventually, she finished her homework only to realize that the sun had long fallen asleep as the night took over as the milky white moon shined upon the world.

Looking out the window, luminous city lights cast light under the night sky. Feeling bored, she decided to take a walk around the Pokemon Park, a rather impressive infrastructure that her dad built for the comfort of the wild pokemon living here. Although most of the Pokemon living here belong to Goh and Ash it still served its purpose well.
