I was sitting down at my kitchen table drinking some tea while reading a book. The morning light seeped through the curtains and the birds chipped from the trees in the garden.
"Ah, what a peaceful morning it is." I say, taking a sip from my tea. All of a sudden, I hear footsteps coming toward the kitchen.
"IGGY! Where are you ?!" Alfred saw me and ran to give me a hug. "Iggy! I was so scared! I woke up and I didn't see you next to me! So I panicked and looked all over for you until I found you here!" He explained while resting his head on my shoulder.
'He's so strange' I thought to myself as I set my book down and I awkwardly patted his muscular arm.
"Well, I'm alright, so there's no need to worry. Why don't you sit down and I'll cook you something to eat?" I told him, attempting to get out of his grip. His eyes widened and he tightened his grip around my waist preventing me from escaping.
"I'm not hungry! I just wanna stay here with you!" He quickly stated, clearly not wanting me to cook. I sighed and started to move over for him to sit on the chair with me, when he lifted me up, and pulled me onto his lap.
"Wh-What are you doing?!" I asked, a bit surprised by his action.
"I love you Artie! Give me a kiss Arthur!" he childishly demanded. He puckered his lips and shut his eyes in desperation. I sighed and rolled my eyes as I gave a quick peck to his lips. I turned my back to him and laid on his broad chest.
"Aw! C'mon Iggy! A real one! Like this!" He turned my head and placed a loving kiss on my lips. I kissed him back with the same amount of love. Alfred soon turned this little kiss into a make out session. I pulled back because of the lack of oxygen in my lungs.
"Okay love, that's enough. I don't have as much air as you do." I pecked him on the cheek before standing up to get some more tea. I heard him stand up and make his way towards me.
"Hey babe, I'm gonna get dressed 'kay? I'll be down in five." He left for our room and I started to make my tea.
(Time skip)
I sat on the couch watching Alfred play "Halo Reach". It was his favorite past time, and frankly, this could take hours before he can get tired of the game.
"Iggy, we should ask Yao to make us some of his food, then we could watch a Micheal Bay movie." He suggested.
"I could go for some Chinese, but let's watch a different movie. How about "The Book Thief"? It was splendid book, but I haven't seen the movie yet." I replied to him.
"Okay then! I'll go get the food and movie and you stay here okay? I'll be back in fifteen minutes." He left before giving me time to tell him I would go with him. I sighed and turned off his game console. I then decided to read until he returned .
About thirty minutes later, he had not arrived, so I began to get worried.
'He must be waiting for Yao to prepare the food. Or maybe he's stuck in traffic yeah maybe that's it.' I thought as I tried to clam myself down. When I failed at calming myself down, I pulled out my cell phone and dialed his number. After two rings he picked up.
"Hey Arthur, I'm coming home. This light is taking forever." He said.
"Well if you're driving, I'll hang up now." I told him.
"No it's okay, I have Bluetooth remember? You can keep talking, it's getting pretty lonely." He said.
"Well okay, how long will it take for you to get home?" I asked.
"Well the light just turned green so a-" his sentence was cut off by sounds of breaking glass. I heard the American scream for dear life before the connection was cut off.
