The sound of lockers slamming can be quite annoying to others. Ivo Kinney slowly and quietly closes his locker as he looked over at his buddy, Michael Dhornson. "Look Ivo, I know you're going to do great on that exam tomorrow. You're a smart guy in my opinion." Michael encouraged Ivo. Ivo chuckles to himself as he said to Michael playfully, "Oh stop it Michael, you're making me blush-!"
After the two got off the bus, they both walked home with each other. Ivo grabs onto Michael's hand without realizing it. When it was time for Ivo to leave, he was particularly squeezing Michael's hand. "Um Ivo- you're squeezing my hand-" Michael pointed out. Ivo looked down at his hand and realizes. Ivo gave Michael a smug smile.
"What if I don't want to let go?" Ivo questioned jokingly. Michael looked at Ivo, blush filling up his face. Ivo lets go of Michael's hand as he starts to walk away. "See you tomorrow Michael." Ivo said as he left.
Michael stood there in complete shock as he tried to process what had happened. Eventually, Michael's roommate, Carson Ivo Kinney, had came outside. "Um Michael- you do realize that you're still outside. It's been an hour and a half." Carson commented. Michael blinked and looked at Carson.
"I- It has?" Michael questioned. Carson looked at Michael confused. "Yea? Did you even look at the 69 texts I sent you?" Carson asked. Michael pulled out his phone and looked at the texts and the missed calls he had received. "Anyway, I'm going out. I'll be back by morning." Carson announced. Michael nodded as he headed inside of the house. He went up to his room and started texting Ivo.
Hey Ivo, how was your day?
Good, how about you? How's your day been?
It was alright, thanks for asking
No issues, I wanted to make sure everything was alright <3
Michael looked at the text Ivo sent for a second time. "What did that <3 mean...?" Michael asked himself. He questioned it for a while. He probably just needed a break, so he went into the kitchen and made himself some dinner. Right when he was about done making dinner, someone walked into the kitchen. "Hey Michael!" The person said.
Michael jumped, the plate shattering into what it seemed to be trillions of pieces. "Whoops- sorry about that. Let me fix it." The person offered. They grabbed one piece of the plate and the plate came back together just like that.
"Thanks a lot William- now I need to remake my dinner-!" Michael ranted in a jokingly way. William chuckled to himself. "Eggs with French Toast? Dinner? No way! Let me make you some, or do you want to go out to eat?" William offered. "No, no, as much as I appreciate that, I would rather have something I made." Michael refused.
"No, I insist. The last time you said you were going to make yourself food, you didn't eat for a whole week." William recalled. Michael closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "Fine." Michael said. "I'm not taking a n- what?" William questioned. "Fine, you won't leave me alone about it so might as well" Michael replied in a annoyed tone.
"Let me know when food's ready, I'll be in my room." Michael said as he left. "Michael-" William tried to call out. Michael entered his room and closed the door. He opened up Spotify and looked for a podcast to listen to while he did random crap nobody cared about. That was when he found one that had caught his eye.
"Let's Talk About Mental Health...?" Michael read aloud as he shrugged it off. He scrolled through the different kind of episodes there were. Michael was fascinated by the different kind of topics there were. He went back to the top of the page and started making his way to the bottom. It was quite an unexpected surprise he found, maybe there were more up ahead and he didn't even realize...
