Chapter 9 > the truth <

A/N I really like one piece and I have shimeji so I got a little croc running around so I'm a little distracted.

STORY START HERE.

  Once all exercises are concluded, All Might praise his class for their efforts.

"Good work everyone!" all might shout." we didn't have any bad injuries other than midoriya. you guys took this on seriously. you all did so good for your first training."

tsu mentions " class with mister Aizawa is kind of anti-climatic." everyone nods their heads.

all might shout "we're free to have proper class as well." then all might excuse himself to relay all this info with izuku

"wait can I go with you." (y/n) says " I want to see how izus doing if that's cool with you guys ." 

"Sure I don't see why not young pup."

the two make a narrow escape from the class before all might revert to his skinny form. All Might and (y/n) make their way to the nurse's office.

"Why didn't you stop him this is the 3rd critical injury he's gotten this year." recovery girl lectures all might. while (y/n) goes to sit beside izuku.

" I apologize, recovery girl." all might says they banter back and forth. (y/n) took izukus hand in hers and softly rubbed her thumb on his.

she whispered" why must you always hurt yourself. you're stressing me out when you pull shit like this."

recovery girl mentions that All Might shouldn't indulge Izuku just because he's inheriting, but All Might tells her to keep her voice down because hardly anyone knows about the Quirk.

Izuku awakens later that day and returns to class with (y/n). He is met with compliments from his classmates, but he notices that Katsuki isn't among them.

"hey izu how are you holding up?"(y/n) asked as the pair walked away to find Akatsuki. they find Katsuki just outside the school and decide to tell him the truth: that he obtained his Quirk from someone else and had not been lying to Katsuki.

" Are you sure about this izu?"

"yes I feel wrong lying."izuku stated before yelling "kaacchan!...kaacchan!"

katsuki turned menacingly "what."

izuku says catching his breath" there's one thing I feel like I have to tell you. my quirk is something I received from someone else."

"huh."

" I can't say who I got it from though. I won't say...but it's like a story out of a comic book, except it's true. on top of that, I still can control that properly. it's just a narrowed power that I haven't made my own yet. that's why... I tried to beat you without using it. but in the end, I couldn't win and had to rely on it. I've still got a long way to go... that's why... that's why-- "

bakugo was starting to shake in anger. izuku continues " one day I will make this quirk my own and beat you with my own power."

the air was tense. 

(y/n) pov 

'wow that was a lot I thought izu just came to tell him that it wasn't a trick.' the fur on the back of my neck was standing straight. my tail was stiff no movement as I looked back and forth from izu to kats. 

"what the hell is that." katsuki spoke."narrowed power. your talking nonsense. what are you trying to do make me out to be more of a fool than you already have? huh?"

'oh dear this atmosphere just keeps getting worse '(y/n) thought

"what are you trying to say?" kats continued" today, I lost to you... that's all it was... as I watched the ice guy, I thought 'i cant beat him.' damn it I ended up agreeing with what that ponytail girl said! damnit. damnit damnit. hey, you to deku. I'm just.." tears started to slowly pool out of kats eyes" I'm just getting started! you hear? here I will become the number one hero!"

'aww kats' (y/n) thought as she let out a quiet whine "MMMmmmmM."

katsuki's leaving comments" you won't beat me again you bastards."

 However, Katsuki refuses to believe him and responds by admitting defeat.

'izu looks like he's about to pass out. I'm glad kats realized he still has some work to do.'

a distant yell rings out. It's all might looking for bakugo. all might starts to lecture him about how pride is important and how he's got potential. 

"let go of me all might I can't walk."bakugo states bluntly. "ill become a hero that surpasses even you without you telling me."

"huh?" all might lets out."uh right. he's gotten over it already."

all might realized that it's hard work being a teacher.

"well alright then let's go get our stuff so we can go home I'm tired and wish to sleep."(y/n) states walking back to school.

A/N 

so I'm back in business, for now, you never know what gonna happen next.

during Bakugos's part, I'm watching sub and his voice is super squeaky and I was like we hear you loud and clear sir squeaks a lot.
