Here's my entry to challenge 13 of the writing games. Hope you like it😃
"Oww!"
"Sorry!"
"Humph!"
Molly keeps running.
"You sure you saw this? An ewok? You sure it wasn't a raccoon? Because Molly, I hate to break it to you man, but Ewoks aren't real." I state.
"It was an ewok," she insists, "just a little farther..."
Now let me tell you something about Molly, she is a total star wars freak. Total. Maybe it's the fact that she has six brothers and is the only girl in her family, but she's obsessed.
Finally she stops in a clearing. A hazy blue mist is covering everything.
"This is weird," I say, "let's go. Hey, I'll buy us some fries at..." I start.
"Wait, just a little longer Jackie," Molly urges.
I sigh and sit down next to her.
And then I see it. "Hey look, it's a cat."
She squints to see where I am pointing.
"That's not a cat Jackie, Oh My God, that's it! See? I told you! I told you, it's an ewok!" Yelled Molly.
"Sure," I roll my eyes.
The little "ewok" stumbles into the clearing. He makes a little grumbling sound and then sees us. He shrieks and hides behind a particularly large shrub.
By now, I'm starting to think that maybe Molly's not a psycho.
"It's okay," share says, "it's alright."
The furry thing creeps out of the clearing and walks closer to us.
It's an ewok.
Molly has it in her arms now. It's making its cute little noises and she's talking to it like its a baby.
It is pretty cool, but I'm tired, hungry, and I have to pee.
"Molly..."
Suddenly the Ewok screams. Really loud.
"Gah," I shriek, "Tell it to shut up!"
The ewok is hanging on to her tight, shaking.
Suddenly, the blue mist starts to get thicker. It twirls around in a spiral getting faster and faster, until just as quickly as it started, it stops.
And in the middle of the clearing. Is a guy with a black, hooded cape.
"Oh my gosh Molly, we have to get out of here!" I whisper scream.
And then I hear it, the Darth Vader breathing.
The Ewok is practically crying now.
The figure reaches up and takes off his hood.
I keep myself from screaming
Because it's Darth Vader.
He walls around the clearing a little bit, and I'm so intent on watching him, that I don't notice Molly pulling on my sleeve.
"Jackie, that's Darth Vader. The Dart Vader. The Ewok was nice, but we gotta go." Then her eyes go wide with fright.
"J...Jack...Jackie..."And then I am suffocating. But there is nothing around me. I can tell that the same is happening to Molly.
Stars start to dance in front of my eyes. This is it, I'm going to die.
